Now i've decieded to start using creatine, but i've been reading allot of things which makes me not to start on it...do i actualy need it??
Okay, I'm 24 and work out 6 times 2/3 hours each time. Mostly i fallow classes like bodypump, bodyflow, body combat, depends what i feel like.. Sometimes i just like to run my ass off on the threatmill or hang in the weights. or do it all.:laugh
The creatine i think would be fine for me, but eh im not an expert, I heard woman's voice can change because of the hormon change??
Is it actualy bad for woman or is it just a fairytale...?
I've been told i should take 5 gramms before workout is that correct?

Women CAN use creatine . Your voice will NOT change by using creatine.
Creatine is an amino acid . It natural found mainly in red meats.
You can use it as it may help you with your muscle endurance and recovery.
5g daily is fine.

With those strenous workouts and my expeirence with creatine monohyrate id say 5g (one teaspoon) after your workout and 3-5g before bedtime for nightime recovery. Post workout is the best time i find for creatine (although i love the stuff and use it all day) as the stores are low after strenous excercise and it can aid in the rebuilding process after you broke down your muscles.
But like previously stated no worries whatsoever about voice change of hormonal change. Im a UofW human kinetics student and in our sports performance class creatine use in males and females was discussed and its safety and performance in females has been proven so id definitly try it.
It will most def increase your performance and is safe while doing it

This is How i mostly Work out:
15 min stretching
30 minutes Treadmill
30 minutes Biking
Sometimes I do the Elliptical But I'm not a big fan of that thing :p I'm pretty uhm... haha stupid sometimes and break my neck..
but yeah I should come on a total of 60 minutes
After I will be doing an hour of Weightlifting, I will doing 3 sets of 10/12 Reps
I'm doing all the musclegroups. (Mostly like 9 Machines)
Sometimes I'm not doing everything if I'm sore or what so ever...
There are days I'm only doing cardio workout.
After im always stretching again.
^^ if you goal is to put on size, you should NOT be doing that much cardio.
what UBC is talking about is cortisol release, the longer the time frame you exercise for, the more of this hormone is released in your body. cortisol = bad because it "eats away" muscle tissue to provide your body with more energy.
so ideally, you would do 1 hour of strict weight workouts, then have some whey protein powder and some gatorade RIGHT after youre done.
and do your cardio on your off days, keep it under an hour as well.

Weight training should be performed first, cardio after that...never do cardio before weights all you are doing is using up much needed glycogen and missing out on fat burning...its a waste of energy with little results.
You can weight train for 45minutes then do 45-60 minutes of cardio.
Creatine will only help you in the area of strength and muscl ebuilding via cell volumization...if you are not pushing heavy weights it will not do much for you and is a waste of money.

how come nobody told her about the loading phase? It won`t work if she dosen`t do it... With tones of sugar, makes it work even better!
I don't believe you need a loading phase.

Okay I've heard something about it, that you take more than the normal ammounts?? I started today with it and took 2 gramms lol less than normaly because i dunno how i response on it hehe

Just take a tsp a day and you'll be fine.
Some people ( including myself ) like to take it first thing in the morning and then again before a workout . You don't have to do it that way if you don't want to .

If i were you, I`d take about 2.5 grams twice a day. The first dose before your pre workout meal, the other post workout with some gatorade (1scoop) then 10-15 minutes later a protein drink that has 20 grams or so of protein. So what you did is just good instinctive nature. On your off days, just take 2.5 grams.
The loading phase, some guys take 5 grams 4-6 times a day for 5 days will give you faster results, but most don`t do it anymore. Stomach problems being the main problem. When taking daily amounts as I suggested, it will take about 3 weeks to see results. No big deal, as I assume you`re in this for the long haul anyway...

What is the best thing to mix it with i just did it with a bit yoghurt (that stuff smells horrible too!) Juk :/ hehe I just noticed i'm using more and more suppliments now:s hopefully its not gonna be a dayjob to take it hehe

At first people were taking it with a sugary drink as it was said the insulin produced by the sugar aided in transporting the creatine to the muscles. But sugar and weight loss don`t go together. Post workout is another story since it`s acutally usefull to consume sugar, sure add it in then. But the other dose can be taken by simply tossing the creatine down in your mouth chased by some water. Or if your pre workout meal is yogourt with some protein mixed in the yogourt, you could add the creatine to the yogourt. Whatever you feel like. As talo said, there are many ways to use it...

ewwww ewwww ewwwww just with water and nothing else.. Respect for someone that can do that..haha.. I'm really difficult with gross flavours :p Or well now i havent taste it yet because i mixed it up well lol. It took me a very long time to not have a problem with protein powder hehe...Or even my multi vitamin chew tablets (because I have problems with swallow big tablets imma pussy) ah well i find a way..Thank you guys so much forthe info :D It really helps me :D

Man you women are hard to please with these kind of products, lol. Every girl I`ve had taste a protein drink finds them disgusting. The creatine is tasteless. No big deal. Maybe someday you will have sore joints and will try powdered cissus. That shit tastes, well, like shit.

I use glucosamine for my joints with an awesome lemon flavour which is pretty damn tasty.. LOL I actualy do like one protein drink. its chai latte protein drink from bolthouse farms from wallmart and stuff don't think its perfectly healthy but its good! haha
