looks pretty good diet wise.... see how it goes for now, focus on the main lifts (deads, squats, shoulder press, bench press) make sure you rest as much as possible when your not training. gaining fat however is inevitable but you can limit that with diet. i'd add in some more fats coming from almonds, cashews, natural peanut butter near the night time, it will increase natural testosterone. throw some red meat in there for a few of your later meals aswell.

what foods do you suggest?

you'll get more calories out of red meats... add condiments to everything... salsa, relish, more veggies too you need fibre

in the offseason you should focus on some more calorie dense foods... chicken of course is a great protein source but just doesnt pack the cals you need so its not usually the best choice for your main protein source unless you can stomach a lot of it

i tend to have a pretty low carb intake all year round and keep my fats pretty high... my main protein sources in the offseason are beef, eggs and nuts... i certainly have shakes and chicken as well but less of them than i would while dieting

i also dont buy into the sustained carb intake stance most ppl take with their diets... in other words you do not have to consume carbs with every meal, evenly throughout the day... i concentrate all of my carb intake to during and pwo, sometimes a bit pre and dont consume any with my other meals, not even in the am... i also have some sort of micronutrient dense food with each meal... you plan right now looks like a sure fire way to get incredibly malnourished

according to the Canada food guide (which is bogus on so many counts, given) recommends 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies per day so thats 2.5 to 5 cups and thats for a sedentary person... certainly a working athlete should consume at least double

id drop the carbs from some of your meals, jack up the veggies and increase ur efa intake

I'll second the red meat. I maintain around what you are eating, and am much older. Red meat, like a (cheap) steak or some very lean hamburger can give you a good amount of calorie dense lean protein with little fat.

my body works extremely well with fats aswell so thats what my diet will probably look like this off season. carbs all centralized around my workout and fats and veggies for the rest of the day.

I like red meat and if you choose lean meat, it's Fine!^^ I eat 2 time a day red meat and there no problems with the fat..I'm on bulking and red meat, for 200g, it'a round 45-60g of full protein, depends of the type of meat!;-)

I like to eat add at least 2 cans of salmon and 2 tins of sardines everyday. Good for protein intake and good fats. Salmon can get expensive though! Sometimes i switch to tuna but not too much cuz i'm a little worried of mercury content. At one time i was eating 4-5 cans a day for more than a month and started to get headaches. Had to tone it down and headaches have gone away.

Yes way too much chicken in there and eating like that could cause problem down the road, I know when I eat too much chicken for too long my body will not digest it properly and I get bloated and gassy, feel like crap, my body basically becomes allergic to it almost.

Try some turkey for one of the meal and one meal chicken. Also consider adding ground beef or lean steak. Salmon is a good idea as well if you can afford it, but ground beef is way cheaper.

Also save your money on buying egg whites and stick with whole eggs, 6 for breakfast will be great for you.

Good luck
