any pics of the juniours. Just wondering if that juniour winner got any better or worse conditioning between the two close shows. Also Danny Garron taking it was no suprise hes doing really well and is bringing it for sure.

But what wowed me was that Steve beat him in the overall! ya... wow!... For those who don't know, Steve won NS Heavyweights and the overall last year, thus the reasoning he couldn't compete in the NSABBA competition this year.

Mike Johnson won the men's heavyweight class and the overall last year. Steve Parker only competed in masters last year.

I am not clear what you mean here...I wasn't at the show, but are you saying it was surprising that danny got beat? All I know is that steve parker is insane, and if he looked like he did last year, which he basically does year round, he likely won the overall hands down!

Steve always looks insane! It was pure pleasure to be able to do a posedown next to this freak. Loosing to someone like Steve isn't a loss in my book ;) 4 judges picked Steve and 3 for me I was told this morning. So I'm glad I gave him a bit of a run. When Steve turns around and brings out those Hams and that big back, it's game over people :) Now to get fat :) and try to put on some size in my hams and back.

Anyone who knows Steve Parker would know its not a shock that he won overall. Really waht it is that it was so close goes to show how much more freaky Danny was this year after nailing down his conditioning by dropping another 5 lbs. I watched the comparisons carefully. Steve was harder showing more defition and I think this was what lead to the win. Danny's back improved enough to hold up equally with steve. Steves hams and glutes are pretty crazzy hard. Danny has the freakier legs and has a very small waist. Steve was 30 lbs heavier and so for Danny to be that close jsut shows how good he is. If he does the nationals as a middleweight I predict he wins his class. IF he goes lightheavy I think he will place in the top 3 Assuming he is at tyhe bottom end of the weight class. Now should he compete at 198 shredded he could win the whole show.

Not sure. I might just wait till next year when it's in Montreal. I'm getting married just three weeks after this years show. That might be pushing it a bit since the month leading into a big wedding can be stressful. Add a show prep in and something (meaning me) might just break :)

Update,,, Nancy Hendrix Won the Womens Open overall Title.. :) "The Wife" Happy Husband that i am and VERY Proud of her to say the least !! On to Nationals i hope we go. Her,,not me.. I am Not anywhere near ready for that stage.

sorry Danny..just seen this... The open classes are in Saskatoon..the masters women, men and grandmasters men and juniors are in missisauga(Toronto) on Aug 28th ...Saskatoon is the 14th. Not sure what gonna happen with it... We BOTH are thinking of doing the Masters in T.O. so she can get her feet wet and myself too..but then she can Grow a bit and work on some things and go to the Open Nat's next year ?!?!? Not fully decided yet.
