Quick question for those experienced members:

Is it normal for blood pressure to be high on 500/wk test enthanate?

Curently on my 3rd cycle.

1rst was 300/wk test prop. 10 wks/8 weeks off. No sides at all other than actually having a libido while contest dieting for nationals. 3% bf.

2nd was 500/wk test enth . 12 weeks/8 weeks off + 2 weeks winistrol at end (daily). Sides=Acne and wanted to mate with anything.

Current plan was for 16 weeks test enth. 500/wk + last 8 wks deca. I am 8 weeks in and I have acne, same mating desires, but I have also noticed my Blood Pressure is extremely high for me.

I am at around 13-15% bf (no more abs) but not sloppy fat. 220lbs. ( I used to get up to 195 as a natty in off season). Eating a pretty clean off-season diet. Not competing this year...trying to move up a weight class.

ex.
1. oatmeall, blueberries, grapefruit + cottage cheese
2. whey protein + carrots
3. sandwhich + whey prot. + salad
4. lean burger, rice, veggies
5. steak, potato, veggies and a cookie
6. oatmeal, blueberries, grapefruit + cottage cheese
+ the occasional other cheat when I feel like it.

Doing 20-40 mins. a day low intensity cardio. (walking)

38 yrs. old. Blood work after first cycle came back all good, doctor said I was in the same fitness category as a 21 year old extremely fit world class athlete.

Anyone else get the high bp for test only cycles? I am considering ending my cycle if it doesn't come back down and not starting the deca.

Thoughts, please.

Thanks, fellas. I have not taken it (at the doc's next week and will get it checked). I just know it's high: heavy breathing, turn red, throbbing in temples, etc at different times. Sweat like crazy under any stress (lifting, walking, sex, etc). Will post BP when taken.

You got me...today it was a poppyseed muffin!!! After 7 years of contest dieting I am not too worried about food as long as I generally eat clean and regularly. (Years of eating habits die hard...funny that I have to have my cottage cheese and otmeal and blueberries or I get cranky!...although I can't say the same about egg whites...)

I had the exact same syptoms at 500 /wk e and Deca. Thought my head was going to explode after wekk 8 of 12. Beat read face in the gym and major pressure in head. Eased off quikcly as soon as I was done. I suppose that is what happens when you start producing a lot mre red blood cells :)

Yep, that sounds like me. I started on the hawthorn and some CoQ10 this am and feel way better today, although people said I looked like I was getting a lot of sun...haven't been in the sun since my last vacation...just really high blood pressure!!!

Where do you train in the 'Peg? I pass through there a few times a year (was just there last week) and haven't really found the right gym for me yet.

you should monitor your bp regularly on cycle. i check mine ed but id say at least a few times a week just to be safe.....bp is the silent killer....once you have symptoms it means you could be doing damage to yourself.....

Good to know. I'm also wondering if my cholesterol is up, too. Usually good, but who knows now? I'm at my docs later today...se what he says.

ok, saw my doc. Says it's a bit high, just to watch my sodium, up cardio and that we'll do blood work in a few weeks. Taking hawthorn...seems to really be helping.
Started week 9 and added 350ml of deca. Libido has dropped bit, which is ok because my wife was getting tired of 2 to 3x a day. Started liv52 again to see if acne improves and |I am really working on showering regularly 2-3x a day.

thanks for the advice, folks. I'll note my gains over the last 7 weeks. Holding water pretty good on test, but bf is up. definite 7-10lbs of lean muscle so far...usually added4lbs a year as a natty!

150/80 I think he said...but mine is usually good. It's been great (no hard time breathing, red face, etc) since I started the hawthorn. I'm running that into PCT...I don't believe that is a coincidence...it worked almost within days.

The liv 52 is for my liver...I had stopped taking it but since I went back on my acne/zits have gotten remarkably better. Coincidence, maybe, but I'm staying on it to the end of the cycle along with coQ10.

Interestingly, I have noticed since I started the deca my libido has gone down (from insanely high to just high) and that my overall mood/feeling has improved. I have dropped a bit of water retention, it seems, too. (212lbs to 204lbs)...but could be other factors.

Lot's of learning to do.

Hawthorn berry definitely works, if it's a good brand. Which one are you using? I use one from Gaia Herbs called Hawthorn Supreme.. seems to work very well. I also started taking a couple other supps, Potassium & Magnesium Aspartate and CoQ10.

Yep... lots of learning to do. I've learned a lot about my body these past couple years, and even more these past 6 months or so.

Swiss naturals...the only one at the pharmacy...I'll be checking out other brands. Will look for Gaia herbs brand. Upped my vitamin/minerals, too. Good to know I'm not the only other one who had theirs go up. My doc is quite progressive and did not seem very concerned. He just said we'd run blood work when I finish my cycle and to eat clean and do cardio...which I am. Feel 100% better on the hawthorn, though.

This has been a good cycle...learned lots and gained about 10lbs lean, I figure (25lbs altogether but I know I am a bit chubbier and holding water). 5 more weeks to go.

Last two weeks; felling better. Sex drive is at normal. On HCGenerate for 3 weeks now and will run during PCT. I never had to touch any Aromasin on cycle, no sore nipples at all. Will keep it handy as I end cycle next week. Blood Pressure is good and doc is planning to run blood work at end of month.
Liv52 capsules really helped with acne...interesting, I thought injectables did not affect liver.:):):)

Quick update: Finished my 16 weeks. Feeling good. Holding water. Hit 220 after starting at 190 with some abs. No abs visible but hope to start seeing them in a few weeks. Currently at 210 a week after last dose. Cardio is 30-60 mins a day at moderate pace . Diet is 60% clean. I am planning to do a few weeks of winny to help lean up and then I am off everything for 16 weeks. Doing blood work next week. Will be on 100mgs/2wks test enth. HRT in the fall under doc supervision but may try another cycle depending on how things work out. I am tired of sticking myself at this point...
Made the best gains of my life on this cycle. This is my third cycle. I did 300mgs/wk test while preparing for last year's Nationals, did a 12 week cycle of 500/wk test post contest and made good gains and this current one. Was natural competitor in open class for 7 years prior. Getting up there in years so if I do any more cycles it will be something simple. I'm not sure what other people's opinion on Winny is (I've heard its tough on the joints) but I've heard its good for cutting and getting a bit harder. I hope toi diet down to 190 for the summer which will leave me with nice abs for a summer of travelling.
I actually will be taking 6 weeks off from the gym (that will be hard!) but i will be travelling extensively during that time so will only hit the occassional gym.
PCT is HCG (started a few weeks ago for my raisins...) and aromasin as needed. Haven't noticed any real gyno or soreness. Just shrivelled balls, acne, the blood pressure thing that's cleared up and high libido.
That's my update. Anyone else with similar experiences feel free to comment.

sounds good thus far, I have only experienced High BP with drol or dbol, other than that I've been pretty lucky as far as sides EVER! "knock on wood"

High blood pressure is nothing to mess with and should be taken very seriously!!
High BP over any extended period will start to damage the kidneys....if this happens you can kiss your BB good bye because damaged kidneys will not be able to process the required amount of protein without becoming competely stressed. If you are getting high blood pressure you need to take steps to prevent it asap...drink plenty of water which will fush out excess sodium. Avoid some aas compounds that tend to cause excessive water retention...ie deca, anadrol, test....or use an AI concurrently to prevent aromatization. Monitor your BP daily. Watch your carb intake.

Now that is some solid advice. I wish I knew that before thbis cycle. I avoided the AI as I had no sides...something I would now do differently. I did not know deca caused water retension...that definitely makes sense after 8 weeks of test/deca.
Upping water and adding hawthorn and Liv 52 really seemed to make a difference. Monitoring my BP daily would be something I would do differently. Thanks, Praetorian.
BTW Your quote from Yoda was my motto last contest season.

PS Strength increases were phenomenal. Upped bench 100lbs, etc. Did tear a muscle in my lower back deadlifting 650 for reps, but it healed up in about a month with doc supervision. Elbows are definitely more sore than normal, but I'm close grip BPing 350, shoulder pressing over 250, etc so they are getting a workout. Starting to lower my weights and upping the reps...but still making strength gains so its hard to back off.

i had some bp issues years ago when i started BBing and now have a wrist bp monitor that i check a few times a week in the morning (it's good to get an average over a few days) - they're not that expensive at walmart

for me I am very sensitive to any kind of drug, so I have to watch things like test etc that can add water... I take AI and watch my sodium like Praet said

one thing that I do now is vary my doses. So for example anything over 6 weeks of high doses really starts to effect me, so I run 5 weeks at relatively high (for me that's something like 600mg test/ 400 eq) then i take 3 weeks at a low dose then another 5 weeks at a high dose etc... those few weeks at a low dose seem to clear my system of built up excesses in my body and i never have a problem (my bp is usually 100/60 and heart rate around 50-55) and i'm in a cycle now

it may not be the fastest way to get big, but i'm getting old and my health is as important as the size of my arms... almost ;)

So got my blood work done and got called that day by my doc and told to get down to the clinic right away...freaked me out pretty good. Anyways, I arrived and he said I am breaking down muscle very rapidy...and then he asked me what I was taking...I told him and he laughed and said I should have told him so he could monitor me better. Told me to take the summer off before doing another cycle! Everything else was super. Not what I expected to hear, but all good news. Glad to have an open DR. Also glad everything is fine. Lesson: be up front with your doc if they seem receptive. I should have known that when mine let me self-administer my hrt injections that I could trust him with my "supplement" info.

3 weeks off; slight sensitive burning nipples but no lower libido, but I imagine the test stays in the system for a few weeks. We'll see what happens over the next few weeks. Takingh HCG and aromasin,. so should be good.

We'll see how my strength stays and size. I'm down 5lbs and look less bloated. Now to let the body recover.
