GSP is the future in this sports im pretty sure none of them could compete against him if they were all in the same weight division! so i would have to put him first of the list

They are entertaining. That's why I have them. Decent fighters but great for entertainment value.

I like guys who run their mouth. I like the psychological part of the game. Which is why I like Frank a lot. I thought he did a very good job against Cung at Cung's game. I would still like to see Cung get really tested on the ground with a gnp specialist or a submission specialist. Then we can start ranking him. As is, he was ok. Matt Hughes also deserves a special mention as well as BJ Penn. Very entertaining and skilled fighters. Hughes is not in his prime anymore but he was a force to reckon with in his prime. So many good guys at one time or another. But I do love to watch Fedor. Throw anyone at him and he'll pull an armbar submission sooner or later.

I keep seeing this Lyoto Machida name pop up everything of how great he is. I would like to see him more. I believe he'll be fighting tito soon. I'll watch closely.

All time? Factoring in entertainment value? OK!

1) Kazushi Sakuraba - The Gracie Hunter! In his prime, he was the most exciting fighter in the world.
2) GSP - Pound for pound best in the world right now, plus a genuinely humble and nice person.
3) Fedor - If you held a tournament of every fighter in the world... this guy would be the odds-on favourite to take it all.
4) Rampage - Supremely entertaining both in the ring and on the mic... and one hell of a fighter.
5) Minotauro - The biggest heart in the sport. Never gives up. A graceful and supremely technical fighter.
6) Carlos Newton - Doesn't have a great record, but he has fought in as many great fights as anyone on this list. His generation's GSP.
7) Randy - This! Man! Is! My! Hero!
8) Bas Rutten - Old school superstar, started out as "just" a kickboxer but developed into one of the most well-rounded fighters of his era. Best commentator in MMA. Second-funniest guy in the sport after Rampage.
9) Genki Sudo - Best entrances in the game, and a genuinely well-rounded and interesting human being in addition to being a very exciting fighter.
10) Don Frye - One of the first to combine striking (boxing) and grappling (wrestling) in the UFC. Hugely charismatic.

Sorry to leave out: Frank Shamrock, Royce, Rickson,Royler, Masakatsu Funaki, Clay Guida, Cro Cop, Chuck, Shogun, Wanderlei, Anderson Silva, BJ, JZ Cavalcanti, KID Yamamoto... There are a TON of great fighters!

I love Genki's entrance always something new. I wanna see Genki and Kid Yammamoto go at it again. The last fight ended too soon.

I'm glad that I'm not the only Sudo fan on these boards. There are a ton of great Genki highlight videos out there. Here's a link to one:
