Looking for a new firm Queen mattress. Springs are popping in mine now. Any suggestions on a quality brand?

All I have to say is that memory foam is the best investment ever! I don't have a full mattress but a mattress topper....it is like night and day. You don't realize what you're missing if you haven't tried one out. I used to wake up with "sleeping pains" but not with memory foam.

Sealy is good for me. Heard good stuff about memory foam too.

Foam/Mattress topper I would consider not firm. I can't have my spine bending in any way....or my back is somewhat sore the next day. ++ I don't understand this mattress topper thing?

Costco has Sealy mattresses for a good price. That's where I got mine and I have no problems of yet. That said you might want to go to a store that lets you return something if it is uncomfortable.

Mr Costco Man! lol What did you pay for it...size? Have you given it a good pounding to make sure it's of good quality?

I think my double was like $400. I think the queen was supposed to be $600 but I couldn't fit it up the stairs in my place.

IKEA! Highly recommended, my brother has a Queen-size Hasselbeck and it's fabulous! All IKEA mattresses are made by Sealy Canada, only thing is you won't get the Sealy tag. No big deal for me.

people say temperpudic (sp?) is good too. I've tried it before but I don't know if it's just that I can't get used to it or what, but I'm not a fan. Sealy is great.

Mr Ontario. I'm actually surprised you don't sell mattresses with like... built in alarmclock cd players that brush your teeth for you too when the alarm goes off in the morning:)

I still flip mine, end to end only because it is a pillowtop. If you get the pillowtop make sure you get the deep pocket sheets to fit properly.
