I need some help and suggestions fellas. I'm in one hell of a pickle.

Over the last year i have been suffering with tennis elbow / tendinitis. At first it was just my right arm it but now my left arm is a mess. I took 4 months off work to heal my right arm last year. Got it about 95% healed up and just dealt with the slight pain over the year. Now it's back in full force and now affecting my other arm making it almost impossible to work. I have workers insurance through my work if I have to take time off work.

WCB denied my claim and I'm currently in round 3 with them and heading to court next year some time to fight them head on. Those guys are pricks ! Real claims denied and fake claims approved. That's there famous saying.

I'm looking for any suggestions to help with this pain. I take ibuprofen daily but doesn't cut it anymore. My elbow joints feel like someone took a screw driver and wedged it in between the elbow joints.

Anyone else ever dealt with this and can maybe suggestions some tactics to this problem?

My doctor says the same shit each time i talk to him. Take ibuprofen and go to physio.. I don't think he understand that 200$ a week a physio for 4 months adds up. Plus, i really don't think it did me that much good going.

Well, this is going to sound totally oppsite of what most say, but i had the same problem in both elbows. Hurt and ached like hell!

Winny tabs were the only thing that healed it.

Flame away everyone, but it worked for me.

I'm going to disagree with the boys on this one. Don't take AAS to help cure that problem.

Most common causes to your problem is inflammation in the tendons. As hard as it may be, you need to take some time to heal (unless you make money from bbing). Ibruprofen will help here but not if you're going to overtrain or max rep every time you're at the gym.

If you do train, reduce your weight and use the RICE method afterward. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

Then get your ass to an ART specialist (Active Release Technique). Get him/her to do it in your areas of pain. Learn how they do it then do it yourself. The elbows are pretty easy to do. I went through it and was able to cure it with about 3 months off from the gym and ART on myself.

I wasn't able to lift a mag or open a door with my arm. That's how bad it got. I started training again only being able to dumbell curl 3lbs without the pain coming back. Within 6 months I hit my max db curl of 95lbs. So yes, you can heal. You need to take 1 step back to be able to step forward again. If you don't, it'll only get worst.

Speaking from experience here.

+1

Masking the problem doesn't make it go away.It just hides it temporarily.

I myself have taken a mth off the gym so far and I've never felt better, I'm back at it on Mon with a brand new feelin body. (well feels like it) ;)

ps: Ibruprofen was taken for the first 2 wks as well, all my aches/pains are gone!
