I'm currently 240lbs and have been working out for about 19 years.I started taking test about 4 years ago and wanted to cut the fat more around my midsection.I'm going to start upping my dosage of test but wanted some advice if Anavar would be good to use with?

personally id keep the same dose of test if youre gonna add anavar, and just use a high dose of the var :D

the winny will be most effective if your BF is already low IMO, which it doesnt sound like the case

There is no such thing as spot reduction. If you want to lose fat, you will lose it everywhere and with most men, the mid section takes the longest as thats where we store most of it.

No AAS will burn fat. You need to do cardio and eat clean. PERIOD. You would with be better off with some clen and T3 and add the var or winny in later but start with your diet and cardio first. Beleive me man, I've been there before an currently am now.

I'm starting to think cardio is a waste of time, I stopped doing it 2 months ago and have been making good weight gains with no added fat. IMO cardio burns muscle, trains the muscle to be weaker while increasing appetite. Doing cardio everyday only increases your calorie burned very slightly as most calories are burned just from your body doing basic body metabolism stuff. After a big cardio workout you only have to eat a little bit of extra food and then all the cardio work is for not. Look at all the aerobic instructors, most are fat. I find just doing weights I have more muscle and I think as a result am burning more calories all day long when doing nothing.

Ya switch the var for clen for fininacial sake. If you want fat burning refer to Ps thread about ramping clen and do that. Var IMHO from expierence is a very moderate oral and does not do much regardless of bf and dosage. It basicly helps maintaince of muscle while dieting, slight vascularity and leaness. No huge increase in strength but a little. Clen for half the price will specifically burn fat and lean ya up then maybe some var when your down to low bf at least. Var at 50-80mg minimum. Some say 30 but its not dramatic at that dose in men.

Not to sound like a jerk, but this is the sillyest thing I've ever heard. I'm currently down 20lbs and am stronger than I've ever been. 55 min of cadio every day. It certainly has NOT made me weaker.

Plus, cardio is not just for burning fat...i's good for your heart.

I've done tons of cardio over the years. Raced pro motocross, was in tip-top shape, have gone through periods where I run 50k a week, biking, hiking, 2 hours of swimming at a time. Not that that was a waste but for building muscle I think it stopped my progress as I'm more of an ectomorph. For me it just seems to burn muscle. Now I'm 5'9" and at 180lbs, 11%bf and much stronger than I was and I think my cardio is just as strong as my heart rate is fairly elevated my whole workout. I currently don't see any harm in dropping the cardio specific workouts but for others, whatever works. For losing weight like the OP wants, its mostly about diet anyways. Strength training helps the muscles get stronger and not get burned for fuel as the body is in a calorie deficit and the muscles are being signalled that they are still needed. With too much cardio the muscles become more and more efficient and less muscle is needed to do the same work so with a calorie deficit the body thinks its ok to burn muscle for fuel. Once muscle mass is reduced then body metabolism will be reduced and when the person stops dieting they will gain weight and fat again.

This specifically works for you but from what I read from the OP's post, he is not an ectomorph unless I'm assuming wrong though:) For us with just normal metabolism, cardio does help a lot in the fat burning department aside from keeping our heart healthy.

I think there are lots of pubmed studies floating around on the benefits of HIIT and cardiovascular activities on calorie expendure, during and after the exercise.

I think we all react differently. I find that I am more like Shavas. Cardio eats at the little muscle that I have and keeps me from increasing the poundages in the gym. Now I recently had rotator cuff surgery done so the majority of my workouts is cardio (40 mins). I have done this for 71 days straight and look like the "skinny fat" man. I thought the cardio would work at helping to keep me a little tighter until I can push the weights again but to no avail.
Regarding the healthy heart issue. My heart rate is a lot higher when working out than when doing cardio. Does this not benefit our hearts as well?

I see what you guys are saying about the cardio. Not on cycle and offseason cardio for me is only done maybe 1-2 times per week if that just to keep everything health wise running smoothly. But when bulking i find no point in it. Everyone has a differnt style. When i bulk. I BULK. When i cut i CUt. No in between or idling. 1 extreme or the other. That being sed when no cardio is being done i watch my diet and physique so i still maintain an appropriate BF. But i dont believe it burns muscle if done at low intensity 125bpm bike or treadmill. Unless your in severe caloric deficit with no test for muscle maintaince.

I havent gone above 30 mgs before and var works amzing for me at that dose...Im gonna try 50 mgs in a few weeks and see if there is a difference....If not you owe me 20 mgs of var ed for 6 weeks.....
lolol...Ill let ya know if i see a difference.....It makes me strong as hell as compared to test alone, like weekly large jumps...Maybe its in my brain, but if i could change my handle it would be varlover-er...

I might have to take out a second mortage man that shit is pricey. Its the cats ass of orals but dammm its no dbol. But hey i did 30 too but at 50 the vascularity was better. But i usually start with 30 for a few weeks then bump it up to get used to it and wait till 30 gets boring.
