I agree though, I find it gross esp. when someone almost hits me on a wide turn and one hand holds a smoke, the other? a cellphone.

The other thing that pisses me off is ppl smoking in cars with kids riding along with them. A few times when I was on high andros, I almost made it my business.

At least some provinces have started the banning of smoking in cars when infants are present. Makes sense but should've been done a lot sooner. I get annoyed with the 50ft (or is it further now?) away from the building thing. I think certain buildings, depending on province, ban smoking on premises altogether. When you just walk out the door of wherever you've been and you get a lungful of crap to choke on. Even after coming out of my gym I get the same experience (it's in a multi-use facility). I think it's especially funny when the smoker stands right next to one of the non-smoking signs posted right next to the doorways. And since there's an overhang that only extends over the doors, they like to jam close when there's bad weather. It's like a bloody gas chamber. Sorry to hog the thread.

A cop sits at a certain corner near my house every few months for like 4 hours just watching people as they drive by. I was pulled over once because he thought I did not have my seatbelt on. They can very easily keep an eye out for smokers with children in the car.

To the genius who gets all pissed off about walking through my cigarette smoke on his way to Wal-Mart (after he parks his child-killing carcenogenic-spewing gas powered death-mobile in the very same parking lot that he feels I should keep my lung-powered lit cigarette out of ).....try thinking for yourself a little bit instead of being such a sheep. I mean, does it really make any sense to pull up in a vehicle that spews more cancer-causing shit into the environment in one hour than I could in one month of smoking cigarettes, and act all self-riteous simply because the government that is profiting off of the deaths of millions tells you it is all right to act that way? Stop and think for a minute.....why does the governmenet spread this anti-smoker attitude? Simple - it deflects nicely from the fact that they are the ones providing the avenue of destruction that they so loudly preach against - talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!

Bottom line is, until we stop producing cigarettes, people who are addicted to them will buy them and smoke them no matter what the cost - it can not really be such a difficult thing to understand - it is no surprise, I mean, if we sold cocaine at the corner store, yet demonized people who used it, and advertized about how bad it was for you, how effective would that kind of policy be in terms of lowering addition rates in our society, as opposed to, say, perhaps, NOT selling it to begin with?!

Why? Many top IFBB level, are smokers? In fact I think you would be suprised how many top level "athletes" smoke.

As an ex-smoker I can tell you I would never light up again and my health is better for it. I will say this though, when I did smoke I competed at some of the highest levels in combative sports and maintained a network of schools that had me punishing students 6 days out of every week. 5 days per week I had to take training myself and was equally punished, physically during training. All the time students had no idea I smoked and I consistently ran them ragged. In a strange twist I later found out my Simu (Wife of Sifu) was also a smoker and she was inhuman with her cardio training.
The human body is an amazing machine!!!

If you don't like smoke or smokers then stay the **** away from them! If the smell of a smoker offends you the move on. Maybe your BO offends them?
It's a big world and we all have to share it and short of starting a killing spree targeting all we dislike why not involve yourself in something productive, like volunteering for an anti-smoking campain, or educate yourself about the legalities, health and long term repercussions and educate the youth and pre youth of this country of the evils of smoking. There are enough whinny bitches out there, content to sit on their ass and preach about what they think is right and yet they do NOTHING about making a difference. When was the last time you voted? Look at te level of voters who show up on election day in this country, it is shameful.

If you want change then either get educated about the issue and be involved in making a difference or move the **** into the bushes somewhere and live your utopic life away from all that bothers you.
