Ok so starting tomorrow I am going to eat better, workout more and sleep less.
Yes I put sleep less lol, as I sleep more the most guys I know. I tend to sleep anywhere from 9-12hrs easy everyday. So in order to eat better and workout more, I have to teach myself to sleep 8-9hrs only.
Not going to put anything up about my diet other then as of now, I eat pretty decent. Mostly chicken, salads, red meat, veggies and fish. But have fallen back in to the habit of grabbing something quick and on the go.
The workouts are going to be mostly cardio, with a upper/lower split. I am not looking to be a female BB'er but would like to finally be able to wear a bikini once in my life. That is of course without looking majorly prego or like a beached whale.
Going to up my cardio to 1-2hrs a day with taking weekends off, might see how I feel after trying some Saturdays as well. I am thinking of starting my split with lower tomorrow and alternating days during the week.
I am only trying to lose 30lbs in the next three months as I want to be realistic about this. I have lost 80lbs so far and know now the last are going to be the hardest to lose.
The first couple pictures are of me 1.5yrs ago when I first started to think about losing the weight. Then set are a couple months old, thinking i took them in Feb. Will post more as I go.
Well off to bed as I am heading in to work early tomorrow.

thanks guys! lol and the one difference I find is in the second set, i dont look like i stuck my finger in a light socket with the hair hehehe oh well.
Well my plans for the day got messed up. Slept in again,so I will hit the gym after work now. But its a great day outside so went for a 40min walk with the dog already. Going to start my supplments again this saturday as I think they may have messed up a couple tests I had to do for the doctor. Oh well.
Well off to "toss" boxes around for 10hrs, later!

OK so this week didnt really go as planned, due going in early to work everyday. But hey at least I get a good workout at work. To let you know, I dont have a office job at all. I am a labourer in a shipping wearhouse, so i move boxes and pallets around all day. Bonus as well is that the few pounds I had gained on holidays are gone again, so back on track with that.
Have also managed to eat better but not sleep less, lol. Oh well i guess one thing at a time. Also started my supps again today. Man, I havent had coffee in a LONG time, now i know why. I started a EC stack of 8mg of E, and 200mgs of the C....sorry guys i can not spell so this is the easy way hahaha. Took that twice and lets say man I like it hehe.
So a buddy FINALLY signed up to my gym, so now I will be dragging his ass there lots. YES You, Retics hahaha hope your ready to hit the gym 5-6 days a week.
Anyways off to sleep as I now work 6 days a week. Sucks as I work till 11pm during the week and now start on saturday at 7am :S oh well its just till the summer to pay off bills.
later all

Glad to hear that you are making progress. Take it one day at a time....things will come together. Consistant diet will be the key...the EC will not make a difference if diet is not in check.

Thanks! Yeah I know that taking EC or CLA without a good diet is pointless. Thats why I am eatting much better now lol. I am only taking them to "help" with the weight loss not to just lose it that way.
Heres a day of eatting for me, but please understand that at my job I am unable to stop and have a snack. As well having some carbs makes me a happy person to be around lol.
Breakfast: 1cup cereal with 1%milk
Lunch: 1-1 1/2cup salad w/ 2tbs low cal dressing, without chesse
Supper: 6oz of chicken, 1cup veggies, 6oz chicken/ground beef or fish
If I do have time to quickly grab a snack at work, it is normally a fruit snack bar. As well on days I get to the gym I will have another meal kinda like the supper meal, sometimes with red meat.
I find it easy to cook a couple different meals on my days off, and freeze them in proper portions. Then I just take them out the night before.
Made it to the gym today after work, had a good quick cardio/abs workout. Now its back to bed, as I am beat. Stuipd new neighbours keeping me up till 3am, when I had to be at work for 7, grrrrr. oh well, guess i have to talk to them about it.

And understand that I work in a wearhouse, where if I was to stop and eat every few hours I would get in major trouble. On days off I eat much better. You try loading semi trailers by hand for three straight hours and tell me if you can stop to eat?? Dont diss or hate till you know the whole story nate. I actually have one of the diets from here written down and hanging on the fridge. I know my body and what works for it. Unlike some people I am on my feet for seven hours, and its almost four and half hours before I get to stop for lunch. Plus starting at 4pm and ending at 11pm, doesnt leave much time if I want to sleep and get my normal life things done before work. I understand you do this for a living and you do give out good help, but sometimes there just isnt anytime in the day left.

I'll diss all I want and it is a piss poor diet.
Plenty of other people work jobs like yours that are able to get in their meals. Your portions are not so great that it takes 15 mins to eat a meal.
I don't do this for a living.
You're making excuses for yourself.

I'm going to have to agree with Nate. That diet is NOT going help you lose you weight...EC or not. Try a shake instead of a "fruit bar" for a snack. It doesn't take long to drink.
Also, what kind of cereal are you eating for breakfast? where is the protein in your lunch? Like I said, diet is key...yours needs some fixing:)

7 hours/day in afternoon, that would be a dream come true for many of us....Hell, if you cant get the meals in now, whats next??? Wake up, go to gym, chill for awhile after cardio, prep meals for the day, even if they have to be shakes etc....Perfect opportunity to have a great program IMO...
I think you have a pretty easy schedule, now get at er.....

oops just re-read when you asked where the protein in lunch was. I do have 6oz of either chicken or ground beef/fish, with the salad. Plus I also have a few more tests to do before June. So those take up my time, then if I get called in to work for 1pm. Some weeks, yes its harder then others to eat all that I should. But I am trying, money also is tight as I am trying to get my bills paid off. That way when I am off work for three months, parents dont have to pay everything for me. Hard to believe but yes some days when its busy at work there isnt time to stop to drink. If the boss or one of the lead hands sees you stopped, they will pull you to another area to help out, so yeah sometimes its hard. But will try and see what happens

Get some protien bars better then fruit bars. I would put some protien in a water jug in the morning and then it is at your finger tips. Carry it in your pocket/smock/ sweatter what ever you wear at work. Doesn't take long to have a drink......

haha whatever about the undies, was laundry day.
This check so be great from work so I am going to ***fingers crossed*** be able to pick up a new thing of protein. As well as a couple small water bottles to pre-mix it in. I LOVE dollarama for those :) Thing is I am kinda worried about having so much protein. I have had to re-do a bunch of piss tests due to my protein levels being different from the first ones. Oh well, see what happens with this next test. Gym's going good, am down to 191lbs in the AM from 200lbs. So i have lost the 5lbs I gained on holidays plus a couple extra.
I have cut the amount of weight I do with my legs for now till I can lose some more fat. In return I am doing a few more reps, the weight isnt much lower just by 10-15lbs. I increased my cardio as well to, 40-50mins at the gym and 30mins walking my dog before work.
As I have found a place that does the skin fold body fat testing. Not sure if I am going to get it done yet or not, we will see if I have the extra cash or not. Yes, it is only 30 but thats two weeks of gas money almost. So we will see.

My trainer had me lift heavy right up till contest. Don't be scared to lift heavy it doesn't take away from fat loss and it won't make you "bulk" up.
I wouldn't waste money on fat testing....just keep doing what you are doing and go by the mirror and how your clothes fit.

I work as a server, and it can get really busy during a rush at work. So I always plan my meals out so I eat right before I leav for work )I work anywhere form 3-9 hrs at a time) and always have a protein shake on me. I wait until the rush dies down, and take a two minuate bathroom break. Countless times have I have a protein shake in the bathroom....but I have to eat...and it takes less then one minuate to shake and drink. I find its eaiser to drink it all at once and get it over with. Then as soon as I get home I have sure I have chicken cooked or make scrambled egg whites (I drink those too alot when I am short on time in the morning). I find the more you are prepared the easier it is to stay with clean eating, because I know coming home at 2am its no fun cooking, when all you want to do is go to sleep.
Best of luck with you goal :)

CC: thanks for the reply. I still lift decent as is. Just not going to add anymore weight to my arms. I do 60-70lbs on the machines. I mostly cut back my legs on the leg press from 115lbs to 100lbs. I will up it again when I lose a little more weight.
LBM: Yea I have been trying to eat right before work, or I take lunch with me and chow down at our 5pm work meeting. I honestly dont eat when I get home at all. Well normally not, but have been hitting the gym after so I will have a little something. Mostly just protien or egg whites.
I am not going to get the body fat done, maybe when I get closer to my goal weight. gym's going good still, have been going after work at 1130pm. I like that time much better as there is no one there really at all. Plus if I want to try something new out less chance of someone seeing me look like a weirdo trying things out hahaha. Am very happy as the belts I bought a couple months ago no longer really fit. They are almost on the last holes, yea yea!!!! Cannot wait for payday tomorrow, going shopping for new pants. Well not really "new" lol going to valuevillage for work clothes. But hey at least they will actually fit right instead of being 5sizes to big :)

So took yesterday off from the gym cause buddy didnt make it. Oh well needed time to think. Went shopping today, never got all that I wanted. But I got 3 pairs of new shoes lol, they actually were needed for work. Got a 5lb tub of protein as well, not the best out there but was the best for the price at Popeyes. Going to start a meal plan this coming Monday, its one I have put together from the couple I found in the womans section here. I am also cutting out carbs for the first couple weeks just to see if I can do it. If I can, then I will leave them out for awhile.
Got good news today from the transplant place, my protein levels were good on the last two tests. But made a big change for my life today, one I have been tossing around for awhile. Sadly going to be giving up my dog :( In the long run its better for him because I am not spending enough time with him and he needs a yard to be able to run in. So going to be a sad week here but I know its for the best..
If anyone is reading this from Edmonton and would like a great family pet be a indoor or outdoor dog, PM me. Must have room for him to run as he is 85lbs.
Off to work then the gym, later

Is it just me, or does it seem like every post starts with what went wrong, but some kind of justification for it...There is no justification. If its this tough right away, it will only get harder. Most people have all the motivation in the world at the start, and gradually they lose sight. Hopefully your the opposite, and its just taking a while to get the ball rolling.
Working 4-11pm to me seems so ideal in terms of a diet. Go to bed at midnight, wake up at 8, get all your good meals and workouts all day, and then your work hours should only need a few snacks to keep you alive until bedtime.

Thanks Nate, I think he found great home.
He went to a couple of young guys who run and are looking for a running partner. So today I fell of the wagon and had some chocolate fingers, but my heart hurts. Going to go hard at it again tomorrow. Going to start a "diet" as well. Trying not to think of it as a diet but a life change.
It's going to go something like this:
Meal#1: 6 egg whites, 1 whole egg
Meal#2: Shake, small yogart under 100 cals
Meal#3: 4-6oz chicken and 1cup greens/veggies
Meal#4: Shake, with 1 tsp PB
Meal#5: 4-6oz red meat with 1cup greens or veggies
Meal#6: Shake
I may end up switching the PB and yogart somedays as well. I find it easy to cook a bunch of food on a sunday night then freeze it in contaniers. That way the night before I just grab what I want and there, foods done for the next day.
Going to start training my body to get used to 8hrs of sleep not 10-12 like normal. Thinking of taking some classes at the gym, not 100% sure yet but maybe. There is a spin class most mornings at 930, then somedays there is a "bootcamp" type class that I want to check out after. I am going to start taking the yoga class they have, just to get more flexable and such.
I am sitting at 190 and have lost half a inch on the waist. Was a great feeling when I went shopping the other day and could fit in a size 10, still a little tight but not a OMG what is she wearing tight. hehe. From a size 22 to 10, to be honest I never thought I would be able to stick with it this long.

I bet you never though doing a strict diet would be such a bitch EH? hahah i learned my lesson my first diet but let me tell ya when you keep achieving your goals like losing dress sizes etc, you will find you really gain momentum and start kicking some serious ass. Then in a few months youll see someone who knows you that you havent seen in a while and there jaw will drop like WHOA you look great...its a personal vendetta but hearing that from others helps to keep motivation high.

In regards to your diet i would like to make a couple subtle hints or suggestions if you will. Try to make your shakes 1 or 1.5 scoops of a low carbohydrate whey protein ISOLATE. Also for your yogurt i find that Activia yogurt with probiotics is a great healthy choice. It has active culture that act on your gut to break down things in your intestines and increase your fat loss. Its good stuff. But do what you like so your diet suits you and is easier to follow.

haha had this happen a couple weeks ago. Went home to BC and saw a couple people I grew up with. Said Hello but they looked at me, like who the hell is that. LOL was a GREAT feeling. I know the shakes should be ISO but with the money thing I go for the best deal, lol. Its not a bad protein but not the best.

Gym was good last night, did legs. Surprising they dont hurt much at all today, strange because I did more then normal last night. Going to do upper tonight at the gym. Going to try some different machines for the back tonight.
But off to get ready for the dog and work..........

Ok, so for the past couple days the cravings have gotten worse. Not super bad but they are letting me know their there. Plus it seems like everyone I talk to is eatting CARBS!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrr. Then tonight my co-worker i eat lunch/supper with pulls out a cinnomon roll :( thats not bad I just tell her, meh going to go move my car closer. She bugs me about the diet so its all good. But thats not the worst, I go to get the calgary trailer paperwork, and whats on my boss's desk???? A very yummy looking hunk of chocolate cake. :(:(**sigh** Oh well parents are in town and I am going to allow myself a "cheat meal" can not wait. Then right back at it the next meal. This actually has been easier then I thought. Thought with me being a carb junkie, like simple and complex carbs with EVERY meal and then some. That I would be craving them more. Nope just this past couple days.

Got a new bike lock, so now I can bike to the gym, should only take 20-30mins to get there, plus will give me a good warm up. Love to bike with the dog in the summers, we can go for hours. Yep, dog is still around. Not sure whats going on with him. Might end up keeping him in the long run, will just shave the ****er down. hehehe a blad lab, hehe. Oh well he will be cooler.

Riding to the gym would be excellent cardio for ya. Also having someone to do it with like the dog makes it a lot less boring. Dont stress about one carb day at least you dont have a show to mess up you just got to get back on the horse and get going. Despite the obstacles your getting it done so keep on going.

Yeah thats what I was thinking with biking to the gym. Its 13 blocks up and 17 over, so a good ride.
I dont have a show yes, but I do have a time line that I want to meet. As I am giving a kidney at the end of June, lol. So will not be able to do much for 6-8 weeks after, then only maybe 10-12lbs I can lift for the next 6 weeks or so. But can still do cardio after the first 3 weeks or so.

So update for the month of April. Starting weight was 205 due to a week hoildays back home, the ending weight is 187. Pretty happy with the amount loss during the month, not happy with myself for the amount of time NOT in the gym. Oh well, will be better this month. Hopefuly its not raining in the am, so I can bike to the gym. Diets been on check other then a couple slips here and there, nothing really major. Just had a bite size piece of cake once, a donunt the other time. Last night I went out and had a few beers, not sure if I will be drinking anytime soon, lol. Oh well better things to spend money on.

So havent been keeping up with things as much as I would like. Been feeling super run down, tired all the time. Been getting up and falling right back to sleep a couple hours later. Wasnt sure why till I went to meet my kidney doctor this week. Turns out for the last three months I have been fighting a infection, so that is why I have been so beat. Going to take it super easy this week well I am on my pills. Then going to start back on the diet, and the gym. Hoping I get my engery back as well. Good news is that I havent gained any weight but sadly havent lost anymore. Still sitting at 185 in the am's and waist is down to 32inches.
Starting to get a little scared for the end of June as well. But going to go through with it, as hey man its my dad. Heres hoping that I can drop at least 10-15lbs in the next month.

ok so I fell off the "wagon" but went today and got a personal trainer at my gym. Havent been to the gym in 4 and a half months. Had major surgery so I am getting a trainer to help me ease back in to the gym and to help lose the last 40-45lbs. Havent met the trainer yet but have talked to a couple already at my gym and most are pretty nice. So will have to see who i get this week :D
