Roy should be ashamed of beating somebody on the ground who was not defending himself. It is hard to tell the weight difference between the two because of the pads, but if a kid does not want to fight he should not have to. The kid may have preferred to not break his hand or get a penalty.

Fighting when two people consent is a big difference from when one kid is getting pumbled and the other guy hits him while he is down. I don't care if the kid is a pussy but where I am from you don't hit a man when he is down not fighting back.

Anyone who is married know exactly how any conversation about her parents can quickly get out of hand since the wife's mother and father routinely and too often, butt in where they shouldn't.


THis argument about the in-laws got very heated and Roy was angry.
The wife ran from the room and the husband followed her.
He never hit her.
She ran into the bathroom and locked herself in.
He ripped two doors off their hinges- neither of the doors were where his wife was hiding. She was never in any danger.
SHe was however, very concerned about his anger. Apparently Roy is a hot head....

He never hit her .. NOt once.

She was able to call the police 911 yet didn't say anything on the phone. it was traced back to the roy residence.

The cops were sent out. They saw the torn off doors and had to lay charges due to their domestic violence laws.

HOwever, it was pointed out in court that the property being damaged was his own. So it was dismissed.

She wouldn't testify against him as she admitted that he hadn't hit her, ever.

He had no history of beating her and any other woman.

Maybe one day he will kill someone. but until then, all he is guilty of being at the present time is a hot headed arrogant asshole full of himself, dismissive of other people who seems to enjoying making fun of other people.

AS far as I know, and the authorities are concerned, he has never hit her.

It was a tense situation but I think that many men have been in situations where their frustration gets the best of them, the other person runs away and refuses to continue to discuss anything and then the guy takes out his frustration on a door or a wall.

Lived in Montreal for 9 years and was a big Habs fan but that Roy blowup was hilarious. Goalies have bad games every so often, no need to go run off and demand a trade. For example, last year Dominik Hasek allowed 7 goals versus San Jose and got switched for the backup, he's still a Red Wing though lol!
