L3 on my rebound from last years show i put on a lot of weight fast and man i thought i was going to die. I felt like i was 90 years old some mornings. Not just throbbing shoulder pains but knee pain and low back pain. Everything was swelled and throbbing for a few weeks and i couldnt train.

if u had major water weight gain due to a dehydration rebound then u could certainly have some discomfort... inflammation from a diet high in saturated fat can also cause some knawing pain

but u said this was a sharp pain... imo that not caused by something dietary but sounds to be more biomechanical like shoulder impingement or the like

I often have that problem going from cutting to bulking. Also strength increases so I try to lift more and injuries are more likely to happen.
