Have you ever had to choose between AAS and your partner?
workout partner or sexual partner? My workout partner gave up on me because he could not progress fast enough. My sex parner ****ing love the extra muscle, and extra sex drive!
Many times. AAS always works out in my favour, They like to go on about the problems, but they STFU when the issue of sex comes up. Shut up bitch is what I say.

If it was someone who I truly envisioned a life with then I'd choose her over AAS.
I don't *need* AAS. I do however want to have someone in my life that I can grow old with, share my life with, be comfort to in time of need and her be the same back.
But that said, outside of the healthy factors and the legalities of AAS which a significant other has every right to be concerned about I don't give the girls I date a reason to be concerned about my usage (if they happen to know). I am the same off as I am on in fact I am way more mellow on than I am off.
To date I've never had to choose.

I'm not sure if you are speaking hypothetically, but if your spouse was to give an ultimatum then there are issues in the relationship, so she would probably be blaming the issues on AAS and either she is right and it is causing problems with moods or whatever, or she is using the AAS as an excuse and something to complain about anytime there are disagreements but in reality there are deeper underlying issues.
With the limited experience that I do have , I found it to be somewhere in between the two scenarios but find it difficult to see her side of things until i came off cycle. I have never been given the ultimatum but if i was i would have to choose my partner. Theres my Dr. Phil for the day..

Lol, thats never been said before. Ask any married man :D
Had to think about that one Bam.. If my wife were to make me make a choice between her or my AAS use,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'd choose AAS..
And not because i can't be without my Test, though that would suck, but because she made me choose. And believe me i love my wife, but to make me make a choice would tell me we don't have the marriage i thought we had... AAS today, what tomorrow?

I would tell her it's my way or the highway.I would first explain that once you get into your fifties, your own system isn't worth very much in any event.I wouldn't want to go back to feeling like an old horse.

If that's what you really want, then throw away the Kevlar suit. Make the choice mofo.

I'm picky as he'll and do not wish to relive past experiences.
And I agree with caller. Ultatiums are not good but in my mind when thinking about this question I didn't believe the question was being asked in a sense of 'it's either me or the steroids'. I guess I thought it was more inline with 'i reay don't like it and it not only bothers me but causes me great concern about your health'. The same concerns she would have over me going out and getting drunk or high on weed 3 times a week.

I have never had to choose because my gf knows that if AAS is what i want to do im doing it. Its my choice. Im well informed and educated on the substances i choose to use or not. I know the consequences and i do it right (ie. diet, blood work, doc check ups, bp testing, pysch. supervision, proper pct) . My gf does at times question why and nos that sometimes its not all great days and happy times but she is truly in line with my goals and wants the best for me. She would never say that or me. And if she did id give it up. That simple. Bodybuilding is my calling and my passion and i am determined to do the absolute best i can within my power. Me and my gf have been together long enough that we are a team when it comes to things and we can get through it together. im blessed to have a women that understands me and my goals.

met my wife when we were in high school at a weight of 145lbs, (20 yrs ago) started lifting a couple yrs l8r, started juicing a couple yrs after that.........she's been threatening the ol "its me or the aas" for 10 of the 20 yrs and we're still together so..haha I win!
Had many fights about it and they cry and threaten but in the end they always give in to it. Girls are stupid.

When I was going out with my ex she always told me that if I ever juiced it then should leave me so I never touched the stuff. Low and behold we broke up and we went our separate ways. Since I was single I began to use AAS and blew up. My ex saw me after a year and noticed how great i looked. I told her that I was using the J.
Too make long story short, that hypocritical broad got a Primobolan and Anavar cycle from me and her mind has been changed.;)
If I eve get married and have kids, I will for sure stop using, just because I want to make sure that I am there for my kids.

Sub out AAS and let's say alcohol coming home drunk 3 times a week.
Would ppl be so steadfast in telling the significant other to go **** themselves?

If your significant other is threatening you about your AAS use, something bigger is going on in your relationship. AAS is just a part of your hobby not the whole picture itself. If a girl does not understand a simple thing like this, better get another one :)

Yeah, its not illicit drugs but as time goes by, I might develop health concerns. I wouldint want to risk it when I have stewardship over another living being.
I dont want to have childern telling their friends that their father died at a young age from a heart condition, yet he had 18inch arms and a badass bench.

Whoa, just a second here. Was there a new study done that i'm not privvy too?? "Sub out AAS and let's say alcohol coming home drunk 3 times a week". I'd like to say thats compareing apples and oranges, but thats not even in the same food group.
"Yeah, its not illicit drugs but as time goes by, I might develop health concerns".... "that their father died at a young age from a heart condition"... What kind of dosages are you running anyway?? I've never heard of a death from a heart condition directly related to AAS.

I was using heart problems as a example. Theres many more examples of health concern related to steroid usage. (liver, kidneys, increase in LDL levels etc)

Bad cholesterol can lead to heart complications.

well, sure steroid usage has impacts on your health.
The extent will obviously depend on extent, pre -existing conditions and a variation of other things..
To me, I can understand the concerns of other people towards steroid usage...having that said, there are tons of other things that will shave off years of our life's that are tolerated by partners and society..
examples could be: prescription medication, booze, lack of sleep, STRESS, freakin haert attack Im gonna get from a bitching women and whatever else.
DOnt think that my minor steroid usage will have a huge impact, but I will never know for sure..problem is an uninformed individual will have an biased view. that has been formed by the media
I would ask a women to stop taking drugs if she was.. so I can see her point..
YET WILL I NOT REVEAL ANY USAGE TO A WOMEN, NOTHING TO WIN, ONLY TO LOOSE.. SO FOR ME, THIS SITUATION WILL NEVER ARISE

Well.... I'd imagine it's probably something that would be difficult to hide from your partner if you were living with them.

Scared of giving women that power .. they can be evil :-)

If it was a lifelong relationship then I would have no problem giving it up for her. It's just another thing like drinking, playing cards, or going out gambling.
If I was an ifbb pro and making a living with that, then I would feel different.
