Post workout i generally have my dextrose and creatine mix, and after around 20 minutes i then have my protein shake...

I'm not sure where i picked this up (the above practice), but how much of a difference would it make if i mixed it all together, along with some fat (EVOO etc)... I assume this would resemble a whole food meal better but may not be ideal for replenishing post workout? I was just thinking.. the dex causes the insulin spike which is more ideal to shuttle the creatine and other nutriuents, BUT if you do not have the proteins in your blood you are missing out a bit on that spike.. thinking this way mixing the carbs/pro would be good?

If i decide to have a shake simply during the day i take it it would be okay to then mix the pro/fat/carbs?

Wow i'm silly, if this could be moved to diet and nutrition that would be great!
