Just getting back into the Gym, looking to lean out a bit can anyone recommend some supplements, protein powders, etc?

There are only 4 core supplements that I would recommend every athlete take.

1. fish oil
2. powdered greens
3. protein powder.
4. micronized creatine monohydrate - plain stuff

I would also add BCAAs to that list if you are on a low carb diet... there are a few other supps out there that work but i wouldnt consider them core, or necessary ones to use.

Curious about the powdered greens. This is the first I'm hearing it recommended and I'd like to read more about it. Have anything handy in terms of research\studies\reviews\etc? Have a particular brand you'd recommend trying? Any personal anecdotal offerings?

I eat a lot of brocoli and spinach and other greens in my diet. Is there still a benefit to adding powdered greens on top of that?

There is a tonne of supplements and info on trueprotein.com...They have information and what the supplements are used for and recommended doses to take.....Tonnes of supps, proteins, fats and carbs etc. on there...

Personally i like to use creatine, fish oils, milk thistle, protein powders, multi vitamins, vitaminc, vitamine, and cranberry extracts daily...
For leaning out they have a great product called burn....works well!!

x2

Some guys have started using it and it's working out well so far. But the majority of the members have not.

So I'll ask all of you a favour, can you review at least 1 supplement. Especially those things that a lot of us don't have experience with or don't have reviews.

If it goes well, it'll help everyone in the long run, including the sponsors who'll know which products people like and what to concentrate on.

So have at 'er guys and gals. I laid out the framework for all of you. I don't think I could have made it any easier to rate and review a product. Don't let that section go to waste.

I will second that! It IS very easy....Lets start using it people!

Inquiring minds want to know. Think of how threads would be eliminated off the board if people started reviewing the products. How many times has Beta-Alinine come up in this forum with people wanting to know about it??? If you use it, FILL OUT A REVIEW!

I'm done my rant now. :)
