I am surprised the last one does not happen more often. When I used to go to a gym, I now have equipment at home, I would always see guys lifting without clips.

What are the bands for? How do they help???

They let me go a lot heavier , very good CNS training.
Say I'm using 600 . It will be 600 at the top ( maybe 580 , depending on how tight you have the bands) , but the bands help me out at the bottom . So it could turn the 600 into 500 as an example ( depending on the band and tension). So the rebound is great and it works different sticky points in the squat .
I'm not the best at explaining things , but I think you get the idea.
I've also used this for benching too.
