Yea,, looking at spending a few thousand over the summer,, these are some pretty sweet ones I can say myself. I'm not a fan of the cartoony kind of japanese work you see n most shops. My friend just had some pastel work done a couple weeks ago to start her sleeve so I have brought some ideas down to them an see what they come up with,, this is what she had done...

"couple thousand"???? really talk to me when you actually get something done :rofl:rofl you have been talking about getting ink for the last few years. You want to find a good artist hit up either Inkfest april 17-21ish at Northlands or the big tattoo conv. at the shaw in the summer.

If you want really good ink you will have to go on a waiting list. Check out http://seventattoos.com (http://seventattoos.com) He is F***ing amazing. But his wait list is next spring.

Now those sleeves in the first pics are awesome, minus the face. Kinda creeps me out but the colours are amazing.

Shouldn't matter how long it takes you to do your ink, you have to be sure not only on the art you are putting on your body but finding a good artist to do the work. It took me quite a while to choose mine.....they are on your body for life.

x2, I see so many shitty tattoos because people could not wait to get in with somebody good.

This is my back piece in progress with Lucas Ford from Classic Tattoo in Red Deer, it is closer to the Classic Japanese style or as you put it "cartoony", I really like the newer style too but I am a sucker for traditional stuff.

I editted out the ass area but it will extend down to about mid thigh when I am done. Sorry for the shitty photo quality, they were taken on my iPhone, the colors are much more bold in real life.

Haha,, meh, procrastinating maybe a bit lol, I've been looking for places for awhile an talking to a few guys but nothing like the newer styles in the pictures posted above,, so yea, a year and still nothing. as posted before, its on for life, I don't want to get some crappy tattoo thats on my whole arm.
One I had seen thats great but has such a long waiting list is Deadly Tattoos inc. in Calgary, James Tex, look it up online .
I cant post his pictures cause of his website but here is a link.

hahaha not going to answer that :D hehehe no i know how hard it is to find a good artist. I was lucky at the first Inkfest, got a great one on my leg by a lady out of calgary, who had been tattooing for only 2yrs.
