Sylvia sure as shit can take a punch, but Mariusz is ****ing HUGE not to mention VERY VERY fast so in all honesty I think Timmy boy is going to get over powered and busted the **** up big time.
Wow this is either going to be a battle to the end or done in the first round....lol:D

I call mariusz getting KO'd. The way he went after nayman with his fists down and his chin out... I don't think a seasoned fighter like Sylvia would let him get away with that.

Check out Mercer vs. Kimbo..... Kimbo grounded him out, and Kimbo has NO ground game.
I think you guys are putting way to much faith in Pud's strenth. I'm not convinced he has stamina either.
Tim Silvia has had a lot of fights against top level opposition, been around a long time and trains in a brutal camp.
Silvia, first round stoppage.

hey buddy, i watched the link.
tim most likely let his ego get in the way and wanted to prove he could stand with mercer. it is quite clear he wasn't attempting a take down.

I have to agree with you....Tim needs this win and should be training hard for this one.

Only a ****ing idiot ( Silvia ) would try to stand and fight against a guy who's only combat experience is boxing.
Did you watch Mercer fight Kimbo? If/when you do, you'll see Mercer is SO bad on the ground he even made Kimbo look good.
My understanding of the Mercer/Silvia fight is that it could not get a sanction as a boxing match, so they had a gentlemans agreement that they would only throw fists in the fight. Right off the bat, Silvia kicked him and then got what he deserved.

The polish dude is getting smaller cause he is dropping weight classes I believe, did he not start at HW?
And Alves man, check out pics of him when he is not dieting the dude has to walk around at 40lbs heavier than his division. I guess that would be why he has a couple probs with making weight. Lets hope he recoups fully from the brain surg and gets back at it.

Being strong doesn't mean shit when your too tired to even stand up, and don't have the skills to use your strenth effectively. He pretty much just laid down and quit from fatigue, he didn't even take much damage.
He doesn't have the heart to go anywhere in combat sports, if he did he would have gone out on his shield. His corner or the ref would have stopped the fight if he was in any kind of serious trouble, and with his strenth Silvia would only have to make 1 mistake.
But he quit like a bitch.
Really surprised it went 1 round, I think Silvia was playing it smart by letting Pud tire himself out first then finishing him.

no ****ing doubt. i hope some of the earlier posters in this thread are enjoying the taste of their feet.
props to pudz, it takes balls for anyone to step in there, especially against a former UFC champ. if anything, i think this fight opened his eyes to his weaknesses, i'm sure he will treat this as a learning experience.
HaHaHa.Looks like Pudz needs some actual boxing skills.Reminded me of the way Monson wasted his energy against Timmy.
