I was curious to see what people are taking on their "rest days". Or do you keep it the same routine throughout. It is hard because depending on who you talk with at the stores and gyms, everyone tells you something different.

I have heard a lot of people say they only take their multi-v, BCAA's and Protien on their rest days and leave all the others for their workout days.

I work shift work so it is impossible to keep a routine with my supps.

Any thoughts?

I pretty much keep it the same as a workout day minus the preworkout stims. On Sunday I often do whatever I feel like. Often that means no protein powder or greens products.

Yup. When I`m dieting, I go all out of junk, when gaining, I may only eat 2 or 3 times. Basically the opposite of what I`m doing all week diet wise.

I treat my off days same as my workout days...off days are just as important then workout days, cause ur resting and thats the only time when ur growing, so ur body still need's all ur amino acids, protein, vitamins, and efa's, etc, etc.

I also seem to stick to my schedule on OFF days with the exception of Post workout obviosuly. Instead of an isolate i usually opt for casein instead for the slow release if im not training that day. But i still take my multis, bcaas(less tho because i dont need them pre or post workout) and L carnitine. I also use caffeine for a pick up when dieting but on rest days i usually only take any if im real tired(I dont drink coffee or use any other stimulants).

I took only my 5g of creatin in the morning, my 20g of glutamine before bed and my multi-vitamines and of course, My oméga-3 oil!

No BCAA and No protein shake...I replace them by tuna fish!
