I just took my blood pressure, and it's very elevated (so much for Clen lowering blood pressure eh?), with a resting heart rate of 105bpm. :shock
It's normally 68.
Is this a typical side effect of using Clen? I thought T3 raised the heart rate, but I wasn't aware Clen did as well. This is the first time I've measured my heart rate/blood pressure since I started using Clen, so it could be related to the pre-workout drink I had before my workout, as it cracks me out. Tonight was the last time I'm going to use the stim drink...
I'm at 30mcg/day right now. I'll get readings again tomorrow when the drink wears off.. hopefully that's the culprit. Perhaps the two are creating the adverse reaction. I also ran out of Hawthorne Berry last week, so that could be contributing to the elevated blood pressure as well. It's been keeping it in check for the months I've been on it (I know because last time I ran out, it seemed to go up again).
Meanwhile... what's your resting heart rate while on Clen?
..

Why in the world are you drinking energy drinks? That shit is so bad for you man.
Maybe go a couple days without anything then test the resting heart rate and see what it's like?
Stay safe brudda:)

Yeah, I know they're not the best thing to consume on a regular basis, but my energy was severely lacking while bulking so the drink was the only thing keeping me going for my workouts.
I had a feeling it was burning out my adrenals, probably because of the undisclosed amount of caffeine in them, but I had no idea they were rough on the liver. After seeing it mentioned in a couple different posts, I've decided not to use them anymore.
It was a great product in the beginning, but after prolonged use it kinda doesn't feel so good and man the come down from it is really, really, extremely, ridiculously shitty.
Dymatize Extreme Pump fwiw. I actually emailed them to ask how much caffeine they put in it, and they ignored me. Not a good sign. I ****ing hate it when these asshats don't disclose the amount of each ingredient in their products.

Clen raises my heartrate and bloodpressure, signifigantly. Is there litterature somewhere that says the opposiet? Cause I would argue to my death. Its immediate and obvious to me, and many others that I know that use it.

The obvious part is your blood pressure and heart rate are being raised by the stimulant based energy drinks you are having prior to training. Clen is a specific beta 2 agonist...this means that it does not act on the heart or blood vessels. If you understand how a beta 2 specific agonist acts you would realize that it is not a stimulant and doesnt have those effects. The caffiene and/or ephedra in your energy drinks are stimulants and vasoconstrictors...this means heart rate will rise as well as blood presure. Clen lowers blood pressure and in turn your heart rate may rise due to the body trying to reverse the lowering blood pressure.
Stimulants are non-specific beta agonists which act on the heart, brain, blood vessels etc...spefic beta 2 agonists do not. There is much confusion when it comes to clen because misinformation and heresay spreads like wildfire and most spreading this misinformation do not understand how the body works regarding beta agonists... specifically beta 2.

I'm gonna check my bp fore and after my dose and see if this is true. Maybe I am just thinking its up cause it feels like my head is going to pop. I'll get the evidence sometime this week. Good info here... but I would swear the headaches are from higher bp. Who knows though. I dont take stims at this point in my diet (3 weeks from the show), so this will be interesting.

I'm off the stims for good... messing with my sleep way too much and the anxiety is almost as bad as my acid days.
I'm going to check regularly from this point forward and see if my BP and heartrate normalize.
If you Rrrolla and anyone else can post their results as well that would be helpful.

I can honestly say I hate stims, nothing fks with my heart like some good old eca. On test E bp and heart rate are normal but on ephedrine i could get on an elliptical and my heart rate would be ~20 bpm above average at the same intensity. I never tried clen but was interested in it, after seeing this I'm not so sure.
