So who here has actually seen this in action?

I was 16 the first time I walked into a real gym and the ladies were lined up in them.

Way, way back I used to manage a gym in Kitchener called Platinum Fitness. They had one of these in storage. Real old school guy comes in, says he has a sore neck and wants to buy it as a treatment (yes for his neck). I was tempted, but I didn't sell it to him.

Does any member recall seeing those old movies,maybe silent,where an assistant would move a person's body back and forth between air filled rollers,sort of like the old wringers on washing machines?Some they would get rolled over a single roller,sometimes between two rollers,back and forth.

I never seen those machines in real life. (Except in those old school Looney Tunes' cartoons where a character uses it and then either vibrates to oblivion or catches on fire.)

I was in Iron works gym in saskatoon a few years ago and they still had one of these set up, never saw anyone use it though. Mind you i think all ther equipment is from the sixties..lol..

Last year in November when I was in Poland for the IFBB Masters Worlds, I went to the host gym putting on the competition and they actually had a couple of those machines there! A guy was using one of them!
