what syringe for??

well ive always used a 23 g or 22 g, 1inch 3cc syringe for the majority of my shots.seems alot of info suggest that glutes use a 1.5 inch length to tell you the truth i have no problems using the 1 inch and grow fine but i thought id shoot the question out there is a 1inch pin suffient for glutes??/

I use 1" 25 g for glutes without any problems. A 22 or 23 is fine as well.

1.5 inch gets the sauce in there deeper. For glutes i always use 1.5 so it gets deep into the muscle easier.

You'll get all sorts of points of view here. I guess 1" will work in glutes, but I prefer to make sure every drop is properly absorbed by the body, so I use 23g & use a 1.5" needles for every injection. (If it's in the quads, say, I just don't push it all the way in.)

Unless it's leaking out all over it'll get absorbed perfectly fine at a shallower depth. I thought most agreed on this board that subq aas injections are AOK.

I certainly don't.

They are IM injections for a reason. if subq was fine then HG gear would also indicate subq as well as IM jections but they do not as far as I know?

x2 I went subq for a while for my hrt, worked thats for sure.. but just not my thing. Sometimes lumps were formed I didn't like, I suppose it is normal until the oil gets absorbed.

Mind you i've never tried subq for anything other than hcg, slin or gh. I guess my point was 1inch is fine even in a glute.

pretty sure i didn't even get more than 1/2 inch into my pec today before depressing the plunger...then proceeded to set a PR in bent rows with 255lbs...so id say it worked!

I find a deeper im injection tends to leave less of a lump afterward. I like 1.5 slightly better than 1" for shoulders, glutes and ventrogluteal but lately I seem to find nerves everywhere in my quads so I prefer 1" although I may just give up on them for a while. Quads were a lot more comfortable with more body fat.

I am on HRT and the doc says subq is OK. I read a report recently that stated B12 is better injected subq than IM. The report stated that the subq injection allowed for a slower release. I know it is a different substance but an interesting fact nonetheless.

In my personal usage, I have used a 1 inch neddle for all shots. In the glutes, the delts, the calves and the quads. I used the 23g, 1 inch 3cc/ml since day one and I still use that same shit now. Make sure that your pricks can penatrate your glutes and any other less muscled-groups that be same or less. Most dudes here dont say how "large" they were when they were pinning.

was just an average day, nothing exciting, so i dont think it was the adrenaline...

...if it wasnt for the massive amount of scar tissue i already have, i would be pinning my prop/eq ED....
