I'm on a cycle of 500 mg Test Enan, eating 6 solid meals a day, but I've always had a fat stomach. Lean everywhere else, but definitely large buildup of fat there, can't see my abs. The reason I'm bulking is my bodyweight is quite low but the worst thing I can imagine is getting even more fat than I am.

Is it worth it to add 2-4 cardio sessions a week in while I'm doing this, or will it simply cause me to have to eat more to compensate for it if I want to gain muscle. I'd like to be able to help my body get rid of some of this useless fat but I obviously can't do that if I'm on a surplus of calories. Anyone have experience with cardio during a bulk?

Well your heart and lungs will be in better shape and generally it'll increase your appetite so that you can eat more food but it isn't possible to lose fat and gain muscle similtaneously but i think you already knew that.

That said 3-4 easy cardio sessions a week are recommended by quite a few trainers as a good way of keeping the metabolism fired up so that you can eat more and put on less fat with your muscle.

This makes sense to me in a wierd way and will definitely be part of the program this year for me.

cardio = overall health

i think weight training is great, but it doesnt really amount to the kind of health benefits cardio has on the cardiovascular system, heart, lungs, metabolism, etc.

keeps everything running efficiently i think.. keeps it all moving, gets the blood flowing into your muscles, etc.

thats my take on it.

I see what you mean. I might as well commit all the way to both the bulking and cutting phase.

i dont have any probs with someone doing some low intensity cardio in the offseason but you likely won't be getting any additional healthy benefits from it, just burn a few extra cals

ur weight training sessions are going to be much more demanding on your cardiovascular and respiratory system than low intensity cardio would... during a set of heavy squats its not uncommon to reach heart rates of 200bpm, something you would never get from walking, well unless you went into cardio arrest

low intensity doesnt stress any energy systems or musculature, including the heart, so naturally there is little adaption that takes place from performing it... if ur gonna do it its for some extra fat loss only unless ur doing HIIT

I can understand what you rally means. There must be 2 to 3 session of cardio. You can try green vegetables to improve your muscles without gaining extra fat. Take Care :fback
