Truthfully how are you going to judge a difference?

Truthfully how are you going to judge a difference?
What difference do you think im looking to judge??
Its not rocket science, dont look to deep here...lolol, some things are just a simple question....haha

Well i will start with mixability.....Then i will go off to the taste, i think the thought of it sounds kind of strange, im curious on the taste aspect....
Then i will go to bloating issues i sometimes get with whey...I think that would be a fair start....
Do i think im suddenly going to look like Kai Greene and his carnivore ads??
NOPE.....:greet
Any other recommendations as to what one would look for??

bloating with whey isolate? suspicious. Flavouring should be the same.
Mixability is a good question.

As long as you don't start posing grapefruit and leather thong pics kai.

Flavoring i hope is similar, but im still curious....

Bloating is very common with whey isolates....Some of them arent near to an isolate as one would think...Ive had trouble with PVL, and kaizen in the past..........Most are ok, but these 2 killed me...and CC....lol:fb
No grapefruit for me, it gives me a rash...

That's why I say suspicious. If a whey isolate is giving me bloating I'm thinking wpc in a wpi container. I've occassionally had a similar problem but never with TP's product. Some of these companies are cutting corners in not quite kosher ways.

I tried whey iso from six star this summer and LOVED it. Cheap ass walmart shit, but the vanilla is great and no bloat, but i get INSANE bloat from the six star wpc so i know the iso is the real deal.

24 bucks for 2lbs so not THAT bad imho.

TrueSupplements.com is better at $45 for 5lbs but then you would need to ffactor in shipping to maybe not such a great deal for you.

doesnt powdering the beef amino's completely defeat the purpose of their slow digestion and satiety? i like the taste of beef, i will continue to chew it.

good experiment though IW. You're like my cool uncle who drinks beef.

Trueprotein has it for 7.99/lb...cold filtered isolate...:D

But this beef isolate is more expensive......I will look for the amino acid breakdown etc......
I guess no-one has tried it yet??

Buy some and see for yourself.
classic. Make a statement and won't back it up.

So we now know your opinion is zilch and are merely a shill for TP. IW at least wants to try and make a comparison between it and what he normally uses.

JonnyO
24-03-2010, 11:11 AM
LOL, a shill? Listen Nate, I can read right through you ok. Who actually sees a difference in their body from a protein powder...come on!

Its a bloody protein powder so dont expect a miracle.

I like the taste of it, I use post workout and find its helped recovery as well. What more could you want from a protein powder?

Why couldn't you just say that?

How do you find it BETTER than a regular whey iso?

Saying something is great says nothing at all.

Some of us are interested in this product so we're actually looking for someone to note the differences between this and a regular whey iso.

Ok, time for me to get involved.

First off, by definition a shill pretends to have no affiliation with the company. Just an enthusiastic customer. JonnyO and Ironwill are BOTH reps for TP. It's stated openly in their sigs so by definition, they are not shills. Just helping promote the product.

That said, I believe I added TP's beef protein to the supplement reviews section. It would be a good place for those who try/tried it to post up a review. Most of us have no experience with beef protein. I'd be curious to see how it tastes with no flavour.

IW, it would be nice if you can post the details of this like bioavailablity, the breakdown etc for those that won't be researching it.

I will post any and all info i find and my experiences with it...Good/bad....
I cannot access the truprotein site from work, im blocked for some reason because they sell supplements...lol...My home comp is in the shop and CC is travelling with our other laptop, so i have to wait until she comes home friday...Then after a few good rounds of sexual activity, i will retrieve the breakdown etc....
Thanks ....:)

Is it just me, or does anyone else find the idea of powdered beef a little weird?

I eat beaf 3 times a day, the old fashioned way :)

Honestly, I am looking forward to some read feedback!

If someone could post the amino acid profile that would be interesting to see...

I think the point of this is you want it as a "quick" absorbing protein like for after a workout or when you get up in the morning.A steak is hardly ideal after your workout when wanting to spike.By having it in a powder form, its like other protein whey products but with a better amino profile
(from what i have heard). So if taste and mixability is good, then this would be an excellent product in my opinion unless of course if it out prices other isolates by a big margin.

Canadian here currently in Little Rock, Arakansas for work, picked up a container on sat at the local GNC of the fruit puch flavor and took my first shot this morning instead of my usual WPI. Mixability kinda sucks, may have to add the little wire ball that comes with my shaker cup which I normally dont need with my WPI. Taste is ok but nothing great, you wont look forward to it but you wont dread it either hell im sure most of us have drank worse. One interesting note is that I havent felt the least bit of gas which is pretty cool since even the best WPIs cause a least a small amount of discomfort in me. other than that too soon to tell other than a strange craving for grapefruit.......

Ok, i have a bit of a report on the beef isolate!!!
It has a different texture to it most definitely....The mixability was excellent, the taste was chocolate cocnut and delicious...Ill admit i had some uneasy feelings drinking it as i have built a few kill lines for burns and maple leaf etc and have built the blood cooker rooms etc and couldnt get those thoughts out of my head...Imagining it was like the blood cooking room in the way they process it etc....LOLOL...
I was pleasantly surprised with absolutely no gas issues in the past week or so of trying the beef isolate...
I have noticed i do not get hungry as quick after ingesting post workout as i typically do with whey isolates...
So after i got over the thought of it i like it...Ill have to wait to see if anything else different happens for awhile more, Im using a few extra servings each day now instead of whole food...
I have about 5 weeks left for offseason, then i am doing a prep diet here....

I just received my beef isolate today. Coconut chocolate premium is the best tasting protein I had in years.. I was using a blend of rice & white egg up to now and I will never go back. I used to mixer to mix.. so mixability is 10/10. It sits a little heavy on the stomach at first if you take more than 35g in one serving.

I have found the same thing bro....It sits a bit heavy, but it seems to stoke my hunger or something...I really, really like this stuff a lot...I think im switching to this only for awhile....
Mixer is 10/10, shaker cup and milk is about a 8/10 for me...
