Ipod knockoff?

Anyone know of a cheap Ipod knockoff which actually has the same connector that the ipod uses and can TV-out?

I'm asking because my gym has sweet ass new cardio machines with an integrated LCD screen, cable television and an Ipod dock where you can play your own movies...would be really sweet to watch movies while I do cardio but I seriously hate apple and don't want to have to deal with their shit.

Just get a real iPod. There's nothing wrong with them, they work seamlessly with iTunes and have great sound and a fantastic user interface.

Get a refurb'd current gen 8GB Nano w/video cam for $149.

Those iPod Nano knockoffs are junk. Believe me, you'll be a lot happier with the real thing. Apple's warranty service the first year is great, and you can extend it if you want. Ever have a problem in the first year, make an appt. in any Apple store and they'll swap it right then and there. No other company does this.
