Hello there,
I have about $100 to $120 to spend on supplements other than Protein and pre-work out formula. I have a good protein and am going to buy a good pre-work out supplement like the new NO3 or jack3d i was wondering what peoples opinions on the most other essential supplements to buy. Would glutamine and BCAA's be a must buy or Beta-Alanine and Arginine. If I you could let me know what you think are the essentials other than Protein and Pre-work out formula I would be very grateful. You don't need to name brands but you are quite welcome to. As I said my budget is $100 -$120.
And for all those of you that say food is better, I agree and have addressed that. Supplements are obviously there to supplement a proper food intake and diet.
Many thanks
Multi Vitamin
Fish oil
Green Tea
ZMA
- Depending on your pre- sup , you should pick up some creatine.

Hi Matt,
On top of the protein I personally would go with the following,
Multi Vits (I use Progressive)
Greens
Fish Oils
BCAA's
Kre Alkayn
Glutamine
There are some solid products on the market where you can get the last three all in one or at least the BCAA's and Glutamine

Don't waste ur money on all the unnecessary supps all u really need is
protein
creatine
fish oil(omega 3)
the pre workout supps will give u a little mental boost in than stop working from my experiences.
spend ur money on ur food cause IMO the rest is a waste.

Whey Blend Protein (10 pounds)
Omega-3 Fish Oil Capsules (1000)
Creatine Monohydrate (2 pounds)
Caffeine (100x200mg)
This includes what you need for pre-workout and protein for $135.00 out the door including shipping and taxes from www.truesupplements.com (http://www.truesupplements.com)
If you really feel the need to go beyond this, I would recommend getting yourself a multivitamin, some ZMA, and then other supplementary supplements like Arginine, Beta, ALCAR, Glutamine, BCAAs. However, as has been stated above, those four things are all you really need to get started.
I'll just chime in to reiterate what others have already said. All you need is whey protein, fish oil, multivitamin, and creatine if you wish. Good food is the best investment.

A good protein powder, multi-vitamin, creatine, and fish oil are all you'll ever need. If you're cutting ephedrine/caffeine and some BCAAs will help too. Everything else is just marketing hype.
