View Full Version : One Big Meal post workout.
Starting tomorrow I will eat single meal 30 min after my protein post-workout shake composed of 1000 calories.
40g of fat, 60g of protein and 105g of carbs
The next meal will be a chicken breast and an apple before bed.
my first 5 meal of the day wont change
1- 6 eggs + orange or apple
2- chicken salad sandwich 300 calories, 30g protein
3- chicken salad sandwich 300 calories, 30g protein
4- roast beef sandwich 500 calories, 60g protein
5- pre-workout chicken breast + fruits 30g protein
I started this new job in a sandwich restaurant so I eat lots of sanwich now.
This experiment with this big meal post workout is to see if I pack mostly fat or i stay pretty lean and try to past 170 lbs.
I will update my weight in 10 days.

I`ve done something similar but not as high in the fats. I`d get about 200 grams of carbs and 40 ish grams of protein. Cals almost the same and it worked very well, although my cals in the whole day were much higher. And please, don`t be another one of those turds who say "I`ll let you guys know how it works" and don`t...

Any updates?
Any updates?
I had my first Big Meal yesterday. Nothing special happened yet, I will have another big meal tonight after the gym. It might take at least a week a week before I see any change. I had nightmares last night, could it be related to eating that much food before bed?

I don`t get nightmares from eating heavy before bed. But I only do it once a week on my cheat day. You`re right about it taking a week or 2 to see a difference. Your calories overall are kind of low, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

It was just a joke when I said that... Can always count on you Kloan to get my humour!
So far recovery is very good, and weight did not change. I believe I might have got leaner actually but to early to say if its related.

in preparation for the "juice-monkey-raid" on all-you-can-eat-sushi i have organised for next weekend, i went last night to see what kind of damage i can do. in ~45 mins i consumed:
50 crab meat sashimi
35 tuna sashimi
50 salmon sashimi
3 x 5oz chicken platters
6 x 2oz chicken skewers
(i know i impressed the staff because they came to double check my orders on two separate occasions)
....consequently I had the worst ****ing nightmares
all you can eat sushi is delicious
Ive been gaining some fat in the last week. Strength and recovery is up. Maybe I will cut down carbs in half for next week.
