View Full Version : regarding ephedrine to slightly boost performance?

I've read that ephedrine can slightly boost your performance alongside increasing energy levels. I purchased both caffeine pills and 8mg ephedrine HCL pills, i'd like to use for a seperate times to boost my performance in an endurance swimming class rather than for fatloss. How much shall i take of each? Is 3 8mg ephedrine HCL (24mg) and 150mg caffeine sufficent? or may i have some input?
as well:
what will generally be the duration of the two combined? will the effects wear off quick?

i used to take ephederine for rugby, mostly for increases awareness 24mg should last a whole meet

shall i include caffeine however? because i hear it works better syngertically or is that meant in terms of fat loss?
I'm generally looking for increased energy to slightly boost my performance when swimming.

if you've never taken ephedrine before, might I suggest you try just 1 8mg pill and see how you respond. I get effects from HALF an 8mg pill and 24mg would pretty much leave me squirming uncomfortably all day.

Yes it will be my first time and correct I don't want to push my limits without testing my tolerance first. 8 or 16mg with 150mg caffeine sound about right ?

If it were me I'd test drive the ephedrine on its own...and when it wouldn't impact anything i give a shit about should things get unpleasant. Try 8 or 16mg on the weekend sometime and see what you think...if its mild, add the caffeine. From there you should have an idea of where to take things.

ephedrine on its own never did anything for me, maybe good for an hour at most. You need a combination of ephedrine, caffine and asprine or white willow.. Not sure on how much of each though, i always used to take the ready made, a product called Thermalean..

So guys I ended up taking 16mg ephedrine and 150mg caffeine same time , though I took it on a stomach with food and I attended my swimming class 40 mins after. I wasn't that pleased honesty all I noticed was increased allertness and the food has digested by now 2 hrs later and I just still feel wide awake no noticable energy increase though a slight appetite suppressed. Shall I increase dosage next time of either compound? Or I am not really supposed to expect much from it other than allertness?

Do you always eat food 40 minutes before swimming? That makes no sense to me. I`d wait much longer. I`ve never heard someone say that they felt more awake but not more energized or enerjized if you`re Mr O...

I don't normally eat 40 mine before I was just very hungry at this odd moment. I will attempt to try it again shall I stick with 16 mg ephedrine hcl and 150mg caffeine this time on an empty stomach and see if there is a difference or increase the dosage? Either way even when the food digested I just felt awake no improved energy and then I immediately began feeling more tired and lazy 6 hrs after since it prolly wore off.

I took ECA with , 8, 200 , 325 twice a day an was a lil messed from anxiety,, less caffein worked better for me.
