I'm several months into a long test cycle. its technically my 3rd cycle.

just 250mg of test e twice a week.

mad sweats at night. i really started getting them during my second cycle this time last year. and now, pretty well every night i am drenched in sweat. hot, cold, late workout, early workout, stressed, relaxed ... doesn't matter. i sweat.

anyway, i realize pretty well everyone gets this symptom. i've been reading and it seems like it might have something to do with elevated prolactin levels. which apparently increases in response to higher estrogen levels. and estrogen levels would likely be elevated due to the test aromatising.

but then ive read women actually experience night sweats during menopause, when estrogen levels are falling.

any one got any science-based ways of dealing with this? is it prolactin? maybe a SERM or AI during the cycle would prevent the night sweats? ive never had any problem with gyno, haven't taken large enough doses.

I get the same thing from tren sometimes bro and believe it or not a cold shower before bed has helped. I start it off luke warm then transition to damn cold for the last few minutes....lol

Lots of people get this and im not sure exactly if an AI would help, but your idea about it being estrogen related sounds very interesting.

Try running 12.5mg's of aromasin EOD and if it works start lowering the aromasin dose till you get as low as you can go with out having the night sweats come back.

Best of luck brudda:)

Even off the gear I've started to take showers before bed too. Good to get all the deodorant and whatever other personal care products off your skin before you sleep. Just my opinion. Works great for night sweats too. I just pat dry so I don't soak the bed but leave a little water on my skin. I fall asleep like a baby.

reduce carb intake, or, turn down your thermostat

i have yet to hear of anyone getting night sweats from test e or any other type of test....

I'm also pretty sure you cannot get prolactin sides from test... prolactin sides come from progesterones like tren or deca.

perhaps your test is mislabelled and is really tren which would cause night sweats and possibly prolactin issues...... in that case you should grab some caber/bromo to combat prolactin sides if you experience any

I've gotten night sweats from Test only.

I just recently started getting them again. I stopped using an AI about a week ago. Could be related, but not sure. Acne has seemed to increase a bit as well, so could very well be estrogen related, or from fluctuating hormones in general.

For me, it seems related somehow to stress, possibly from cortisol? Not entirely sure, but it seems when I have stressful sleep/dreams, I tend to wake up sweaty. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

i appreciate all the feedback.

i'd be pretty surprised if I've been taking Tren this whole time, but I guess I can't rule it out.

lowering my carb intake sounds interesting, except I was sweating pretty bad during my last cycle which was a cutter and I wasn't eating a whole lot of carbs.

I do find when I'm eating like a pig during my gainer cycles my body temp is just a lot higher in general. im sure there's a connection there.

im gonna look into the progesterone/prolactin connection a bit more ... but i think i will try the Nolva I've got on hand and see if it works. I don't have an AI at the moment.

Stress related to increased cortisol is a definite possibility as well. that's gotta jack up the body temp a bit.

what other prolactin sides are there outside of sweating?

whenever you eat a meal it slightly raises your body's core temperature due to a boost in metabolic rate to metabolize your food. Do you eat right before you go to bed? this could be adding to your existing symptoms.

i have been a "hot sleeper" for as long as i can remember. i keep my window open while i sleep pretty much year round. try keeping only part of your body covered by the covers, like an exposed leg or exposed feet, as i find this will help keep the rest of my body cool. good luck.
