I recently hopped on the Delt King bandwagon in hopes of getting rid of some fat.
Although I lifted a bit when I was younger and got some results in college, I quit lifting soon after and as the years passed, so did any gains I had ever made.
Unfortunately the fat has been more persistent.

My weight has always been stable, but at no point in my life have I ever been lean. Not surprisingly I have also never been on a diet.

Almost 10 years after stopping, in September 2009 I decided it was time. At the age of 33 I have started lifting again regularly and am really enjoying it.

I realize I have a lot of work to do in order to get the eventual gains that I want, but first I want to lean out and Delt King is providing me with the map. I figured I may as well do it the right way from the start; I’m getting too old for the trial and error process.

Starting following DKs lead on March 3
Starting Stats:
Height: 5’10”
Weight : 223.4
Neck: 19.25"
shoulders: 54”
chest: 46.5”
bis: 17”R 16.5”L yay 4 symmetry
waist: 40 across the belly button (can still see willy lol)
quads: 26.25”
calves: 16.5”

guess i have to update stuff now that i started.
pics will be only once a month

weight is at 217 as of this morning, so down 6.3 so far.

feeling great, good moods with lots of energy (not today as my kids made me sick lol)
lifts are still going up, but i'm sure that will change once the meals get changed up a bit.

I guess i should check this once and a while, i just come on here and read up on everyone else :D

was 203.2 this AM, I'm bouncing there a bit. have to tighten up the work ethic as I've been feeling pretty unmotivated and just going through the motions lately.
2 months to go and I'm still liking it so i guess the ass kicking is yet to come

i'll get a new pic up in a couple of days, hopefully i feel a little more photogenic than i do today :mock

Z you're down 20.5lbs in two months...right on schedule. I know it's boring but just keep plugging away day by day. Things are happening, you made the choice to do it so enjoy the process as you learn about your body and about your will power. Keep up the good work bro.

I think things are going well, I have dropped a lot of fat out of my lower back and ass. Still holding fat in my chest, hopefully that goes away, maybe gyno from way back, can't be sure as I've never tried to lean out at all. I'm a long way from my goals, but I'm enjoying the ride.

no pic yet but hit 195.3 today, that was my first goal when i decided to lean out a bit.

i still have some room to go though, so am sticking with the diet plan for another 4-6 weeks before trying to put some size on.

DKs plan has been working great, i have found it quite easy to stick with the program and it's doing so much more for me than just dropping a bit of fat.

it's getting to be a bit of a long haul on the diet but with the results continuously progressing so is my motivation to push harder

well hopefully this is the end of the calorie deficit for this year and i can get on with the rest of the journey.
I'm sitting at 192 now, still smooth by most standards but fairly content and looking forward to start adding some size.
that's up to DK though, he may have a different outlook of when the fat loss is done for the time being.

this will be it for the weight loss log (unless DK makes me cut more :D)
since i suck at log updates i'll start a new thread in the member pic section when i'm showing progress.

it's too bad that the lighting sucked out the minor detail in the pic.
Before anyone asks, the answer is No, I don't wear these underwear everyday. While I do own multiple pairs in this color, they are quite hot and only worn to keep the pics consistent lol.
