I came across the text below and wanted to hear more opinions. (link is http://forum.mesomorphosis.com/steroid-forum/growth-hormone-faq-info-134223896.html post #3)

I think I will try combining an extra dose of GH with my IGF-LR3 post-workout shots now. Any ideas on how I should time them?

"The leading studies in this area: (Ney, 1999, Yarasheski, 1994.... Am J. App. Phys.)
In the Yarasheski study, no increase in lean muscle mass was noticed in the subjects using GH alone, but significant gains were found in subjects that supplemented with IGF and GH...add in the steroids and look out! Yarasheski studied weight trained athletes, supplementing one group with GH alone, and one group with GH and IGF. "So IGF-1 alone does not promote such effects. (Leanness and increased lean mass) Nor does GH. It appears the combination of the two most consistently lead to increased protein synthesis." Both seem to negatively downregulate the other over time, so as to lead to diminishing returns. Cycling would be in order for that reason. Also supplementing both is necessary because one or the other alone will suppress the natural production of the non-supplemented Latest study by Yarashevski - with GH alone...8 to 12% change in lean body composition. 6% increase in muscle mass."

Ya..this has been talked about a million times on a million different boards....what I came out about it and from it...is the IGF is waist of money! It's like how many spices are you going to put in your soup to make it taste better. lol

I doubled checked with another American board... It's not needed....Someone mentioned they got a pump from it for 2 weeks or so weeks and that diminished.

I was under the impression that IGF caused the most muscle growth/hyperplasia of all. And since insulin was the big missing key of getting your GH to convert to IGF in the liver, perhaps combining GH and IGF-LR3 might make sense for someone who doesn't want to run insulin?

That sounds logical to me. I've gone pretty high on the igf doses before though, and now I'm trying some higher gh doses, we'll see which one works better for me.

Yup! That's why I have decided to try the gh blast dosing protocal. I kinda dont have a choice. At 5iu I was in pain even with daily diuretics, and that's just not healthy at all. So I did my first 20iu day yesterday, and I must say, I have some minor pain today, but nothing to harsh. I am only doing that twice a week, along with insulin in the morning and post-workout. I stopped the 5iu/day about 5 days ago and like clockwork, the hand aches were gone three days later. I will up it to 30iu twice weekly if things go smoothly. I think this protocal is the answer for me. I just hope it works! Time will tell. I'll probably snap a few pics and post the before's and after's.
