Talking on Cell WHILE lifting.. F#$K...

I need to get this out.. there was this Douche last night at the gym.. im there doing seated Rows.. and this fag's cell phone goes off right in the middle of a set of mine.. annoys me but i let it slide..
Then.. this ****er answers it.. has his little hands free on so hes walkign around the gym chatting.. and me and this other dude are just glaring at him.. then the damn convo goes so long he starts doing a set WHILE ON THE PHONE with his little girl weight.. I couldnt belive my eyes..
Im sitting there huffing and puffin sweating my ass off.. and this Chump is chatting on his cell phone about plans for friday night..

Anyone else see stuff that makes you wana smash someones head with a 45 plate?

I hear ya, other night some douche was talking on his phone between sets, while the gym was super busy and many people were waiting to use the incline bench he was on. I would have loved to pound him like a sunday morning hard-on,lol.

This is a complaint I've never really understood. If a silly bugger wants to chatter on the phone, if its not getting in the way of my workout I really don't care.

It's not like he's doing arm curls in my squat rack.

Its just that there wasting time on equipment that could be used by someone who wants to workout. My gym is small and can be quite crowded so these douchebags hold things up.

I'll have to admit I do this sometimes (talking on the phone in the gym).
However, that's only because I actually use my cell phone as my mp3 player for the gym so if someone calls me it answers automatically. Doesn't slow me down though cuz I don't give a shit who it is, when it's time for my set I tell them to STFU for 30 seconds and let me lift ;)

Also, given that's its earbuds with an integrated mic, I have both hands free for lifting, changing weights, etc. No time lost!

First off this guy was talking SOO loud cause he had ear buds in, and couldnt hear his own voice.. everyone was looking at him.
I wouldnt say he was using anyones weights but maybe a few of the chicks in the gym!
I say leave your cell in your locker ( unless its your MP3 player! ) but come to lift.. chat later..

Cell phones are not allowed in most gyms because of camera technology. I have no problem confronting these cell phone assholes. It pisses me off more than anything else gym related, in fact, I'm willing to get into a combat situation over it.

this is the peacefull way to fix this probleme, ive tried it before an its so funny seeing people freaking out cuz they lost there connection LOL
So they get up from the bench and start walking around the gym like fools to get a signal which they can't so by the time they come back to do there sets i did all my sets on the bench he was using . Priceless!!

haha, i got told about a month ago that i couldnt have my cell phone on the gym floor..I was like WTF? The manager chick was like it's the camera deal. If that's the case every ipod, iphone, BB (that most people use for music) would not be able to use it...Gave her some attitude but apologized later as i don't need the hassle everytime i go to the gym. So in essence i gave in a bit.

I can totally understand not bringing your cell phone out in the locker room as that could get bad but on the gym floor especially when i use my iphone for music too..

im actually guilty of this Ive done calfs while on my blue tooth, sometimes u gotta answer that imp call from ur lawyer and u cant let it stop u from training.

I am so easily distracted that i dont even bring my phone out of the car. It will bug me all my workout. Plus one call from someone would throw off my whole thought process. When i am training its my time. So if i bring the phone in its not really my time anymore. BUTT im only 20 and i have to be honest i dont get much important calls from lawyers, clients, etc. I work at home hardware. hahaha. unless its the boss calling "hey im lowering your wage to 3 bucks an hour and now u cant eat your diet food here you stupid BB" haha
