current cycle: Im on week three of 150mg test p, 150mg NPP, 150mg winny inject everyweek.
Happened two days ago (monday). i was feeling strong and banging out reps of 315 until i feel something pulling across my right side. Right side is my weaker pec. after that i was trying to do cable crossovers with 70 pounds (light for me) and after two reps i stopped because it felt very strange.
Now two days later (wednesday) i was stretching out my chest at the gym. i was just stretching and benching the bar (45 pounds) and ya i can feel it's still there. some pain/pulling in my right front delt that radiates down the side of my pec muscle. seems like the bulk of the pain is in the shoulder tho.
There is no bruising or blood leaking out under the skin as far as i can tell. there was a bit of redness/ swelling in my shoulder but it seems to have mostly gone away already.
when i flex hard in the mirror seems like on my right side where the tendon inserts into the muscle the gap is bigger and a bit lower on my right side. it is somewhat hard to tell tho because im not that lean.
What should i do bros?

no idea. i would only be guessing. I wouldn't stress too much just make an appointment asap and see what the doc says. My buddy tore his bicep while running winny and medical covered the surgery, same with another bud that tore his pec, they sent him to UBC I believe. Both of those were full on tears.

If anything just stick to just legs for 2 weeks or so.
thats like my main question. should i just let it heal on its own or should i go to the doctor.
will the doctor even do anything? i have a feeling he will just tell me to let it heal anyways or he will suggest expensive physiotherapy.
also i was doing back today along with the chest stretching. i was doing some fairly heavy deadlifts and it didnt really bother it at all. maybe it's not too serious?

Are you living in Canada? If so then yes it is fully covered under OHIP and it doesnt matter how you injured it. You need to see a good chiro who is certified in ART....as well you should see your family Doc to get a referral for an unltrasound to make sure there isnt a tear. It definitley doesnt sound like a complete tear...but it could be a partial one....they dont always hemorrhage either. I would recommend an ultrasound ASAP...you dont want to wait on these things...the tendon can scar over in weeks making it non-repairable.
ART will help with breaking down any scar tissue if it is not a tear and prevent it from tearing in the future.
Oh and by the way...stop the Winny ASAP...you can most likely thank it for the tear...NEVER run winny offseason.

i dont have medical/dental benefits yet from my job unfortunetly. i live in BC so i'm not sure if this sort of thing would be covered.
does it have to be family doctor? i was planning on going to walk in clinic in a bit.
how much does ART run you per session? or it charges per hour? im def going to try it out. i figured NPP would prevent any negative impact on my tendons from the winny but i guess i was wrong.
anyways thanks for the help bro.

No it does not have to be a family doctor, but your family doctor may refer you to a specialist for further examination whereas a walk in clinic will probably just prescribe anti inflammatory medicine and tell you to ice it and avoid exercise. I know my family doctor tends to give a little bit more of a shit than a standard walk in clinic.
The right move for you is to go see your doctor and get it examined.

PM Lunkhead. If he is around, he will know for sure what is covered and the best course of action.

Well you're paying into MSP so go to the doctor if you think you've torn your pec.
I don't mean to be a dick, but if you're sitting on the internet and sobbing about your boo boo then nothing's going to get done either. At the very least go and see why you're ****ed up. What's the worst they'll do if it's not covered? Steal your birthday?

I agree with Prea. I f u had a pec tear, u would be running towards a doctor who knew whats going on!! If u had a pec tear, your whole tear would be hanging from your delts!! Let me know whats going on!!!

Do this. Also stop stretching, if you do have a slight tear stretching can make it much much worse.

just from my own experience, when you get a tear or partial there is a distinct noise that is made. when i partially tore my left bicep it popped like a loud knuckle crack, and i immediately felt it go lame. call your doc and make an appointment for it to get checked out to know for sure. but if you ask me you just tweaked it a little and need to rest it for a couple of weeks.
injuries are how you learn to adapt, good luck.

this is what im thinking now too. i dont think i tore it. the lingering pain has been totally gone since yesterday.
since i feel totally normal i thought it would be ok to try to work it today. once i actually started benching, going through the ROM it still feels a little funny. its not really any major pain but i can still feel like something isnt quite right so i decided it's not worth it to risk further injury. i did a few reps of 135and it didnt feel too bad but i'm not going to push it.
as far as adapting ya, totally. going heavy probably isnt worth it. im going to stick to more reps less weight. maybe just not go heavier than 275 for awhile. im ecto with long arms. without juice i probably would never beable to bench more than 245. i gotta realize my body was never meant to beable to do this sht.
