OK, I know the exercises and routines. Strength is way up but size is not. I dont seem to have the genetics for a well formed chest but is there something I can do? Work it more than once a week? Focus only on the upper or lower? More flys / pec deck. Someone must have some thoughts. I have switch to dumbbells for a better stretch. I push to failure with heavy weights, 6 to 8 reps or less. Weighted dips don't seem to help. Any suggestions?

Thanks, BB to failure is tough to do without a spot. I could do it on the smith but it doesnt feel the same as you are using and small muscle for balance and your dominate side seems to push ahead.

When I go its usually empty, I have no issues asking for a spot as long as the guy looks like he knows what to do. I hate it when someone over spots you.

BB bench in the power cage with the safeties set low enough so that they don't interfere but high enough that you can squeeze out if needed.

I was in the same boat as you until i started doing cable flys and SQUEEZING for about 3 secs every rep.People dont realize the amount of growth you can get from that.Try it and let me know:)

This... definitely. I do it with crossovers too.

I do cable flys but but not every workout, I'll try doing them every workout for a while.

My best results were 8 reps max weight on flat bench for 3 sets, Incline 3 sets then decline 3 sets. no less then 5 reps max 8. Worked my way up to 300 pound flat bench in 4 months.

Are you getting good anterior deltoid growth? Could be improper pressing technique for the chest.
