Neighbours dog keeps _____ on my lawn

Call the humane society or the police. I'm sure there are bylaws against this sort of thing in your area. You can get him fined and if it continues the humane society will take his dog.

I am a dog owner (2 dogs) and if my dogs shit on someone's lawn I would clean it up immediately. I have no tolerance for lazy stupid dog owners.

As a kid we had a neighbor down the block who was always doing this. would do it right in front of my dad. he asked multiple times she always blew him off. so he started shoveling it into a pile, built a catapult out of a saw horse some wood and a ice cream bucket, and launched a couple months worth of shit into her yard while she was gardening. never came back.

I know it will cost a few bucks but you can get a motion sensitive sprinkler. If the dog comes on the lawn it will fire a jet of water at them. Thus send it elsewhere. Once the dog has been trained to go elsewhere it will.

Up here in the north we use them to control animals in gardens. I suspect the same principle will apply.

I kind of agree here. You mentioned you "kindly" spoke to him about it and were polite. Maybe he took you for a push over. I think you should step up the level of intensity and seriousness of your conversation WITHOUT being threatening.

Call the town office, or city office...They will do something about it, up to having him come and clean it up...Which would be the best revenge...Then you can throw pennies at him while he cleans!!

Try some of these ideas above, if they don't work then MOVE and do it soon.. seriously, if the guy doesn't have the decency to clean up his mess it will only lead to more problems, and also bring down the value of your home. I haven't been out back to see if he's cleaned anything up yet. I wasn't around this weekend. If he didn't clean it up I'll have to step it up a notch. I wish I could just ring his door bell pop him in the nose and tell him to clean it up. Instead I'll talk to him again and if he doesn't do anything I'll just call city hall and see what the appropriate steps are and if by-law gets involved....Thanks everyone

Anyway the guy just wasn't being reasonable, so i got my rifle and shot his dog right in his yard in front of him.... The look on his face was priceless.

u can get this stuff from home depot and u mix it in a sprayer bottle and spray it on ur lawn or brush and dogs hate the smell of it, the only prob with it is that it washes away when it rains, i guess i must've pissed a couple of u when i said shoot it with a sllingshot, the thing is i own two dogs and i would NEVER let them shit in my neighnors yard so i expect the same respect back, plus a slingshot wouldnt hurt it that bad anyway jsut dont use marbles or metal balls, just use sugar cubes it'll just sting him

Lol, i've logged lots throughout that country, Squamish, pemberton area and used to be lots of those kinda guys there. Not so much anymore, place sure has changed rapidly in a very short time. Shooting dogs and wrestleing bears would be now be frowned on. :(
