Oscars suck.

Honestly I can't believe Avatar did'nt get best picture. More then likely because the story line in Avatar reflects current issues like the war in Afghanistan and basicly are shit human nature.

The hurt locker was good, but not even close to Avatar IMHO.

Any other thoughts on this?

i think the oscars are another excuse for the biggest asshole douchebags of hollywood to pat themselves on the back yet again and give long winded speeches nobody gives a shit about. i have family that worked in film and said that actors are the most narcisistic (sp?), needy, vain, ****heads alive.

just walk away quietly with your hundreds of millions of dollars and keep pretending for us. none of us care what you actually have to say or do in real life. just act and stfu.

Any other thoughts on this?Seriously? Avatar's story sucked balls in my opinion. Avatar won best special effects and rightfully so. But Hurt Locker was a MUCH better movie. Strip the 3D and CGI from avatar and what do you get? A second rate disney flick.
