So I've been off 6 months. Everything in the test is within the norms, except for the following:

Creatine kinase 360 u/l value ref. 22-173
AST Transaminase 55 u/L value ref. 10-42
ALT Transaminase 139 u/L value ref. 10-45

Right now I'm using NoXplod, whey protein, glutamine. Could they be to blame for the elevated levels or is the cycle (70mg var+500t-e+a-sin) 6 months ago to blame?

CK is irrelevant

your ALT is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ****ed tho....drop the no xplode i had similar test results...which is why i no longer use pre workout supps

All three of those together can be an indication of liver damage if I'm not mistaken. What did you doctor say about it?

L3, did you get more tests after you dropped the pre-workout drink?

the doc didn't seem worried at all. He said the supplements were most likely to blame, but he didn't really give me the feeling he knew anything about supplements. As far as the extent of damage, he didn't seem to think it was anywhere near a dangerous level. Still, it didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling

edit: Forgot to add I'm also on ibuprofen

ah, well then it sounds like L3 is probably right that it's the noxplode causing the elevated levels... seems like the most logical conclusion.

i dunno much about it, from what i briefly read about those indicators, it can be caused by many different factors, including what you ate or drank (alcohol) prior to the tests. so if those can play a role in the elevated levels, it makes sense that a pre-workout drink would as well. if you look at the label, it probably has at least one methylated ingredient in it, as well as beta-alanine and a whole assortment of goodies that can probably cause imbalances.

Creatinine is high...what was your eGFR rate?? Careful with the kidneys bro, they do not regenerate like the liver.

Liver is pretty stressed also by these values...drop the supps....drink more water and take some milk thistle or other liver detox supp.

its the xplode for sure. get off it and hop on a regular mono. pre workout supps should be cycled for 3-4 weeks tops IMO.

also follow Gustavo's advice above and help cleanse yourself. for sure.

gus, i think you misread.... he said Creatine Kinease = released during muscle damage (in regular ppl, meaning post heart attack)

he didnt list his creatinine

Creatinine is within norm (85) ref 60-105. eGFR is also doing good. I have no precise value, but it's noted as higher than 90ml/min (Last test in '08 was 97)

As for the noXplod, I'm tossing that shit out. I've found another thread on a mma forum about people getting liver values way higher than that with only noxplod as possible culprit
