Last time I posted pics they were from Nov 2008. I took these pics yesterday at the gym.

Dieted down for 16 weeks just to give myself a break from bulking, practise my techniques, see where I was still weak and to get the rebound effect. I was not trying to get into contest shape, just kinda close.

Planning on competing this November in London.

Stats are 5'9, 204 in these pics.

Feel free to point out my weaknesses, I am looking for feedback so I can fix them before the show.

Thanks!

You look absolutely jacked dude. If you forced me to point out one area to concentrate on in order to improve i'd have to say lat width. But they're not weak by any means. I wouldn't want to stand beside you on stage any time soon lol.
Fantastic work. Can't wait to see you what you'll bring to London in the Fall.

Wow thats pretty good for "just close to contest shape" lol, you make 204 look massive!

The only weakness I can see is hamstrings, with quads that big its hard for them not to overpower the hamstrings I would imagine but from the side especially you can see how a little more hang from the hamstrings would really even things out.

First off thanks to everyone for the positive comments. Can always count on Canadian bros for that! Also really appreciate the honest feedback!

DK, I dont think u have to worry about me for a long while, im in level 1, ur nationals! i can only hope to get there one day

as for the back width, that would be my assessment as well... my main focus for the next few months will be to bring up the width and chest mainly

#8 I train at the old golds goodlife

Danger... I dont think my hams are weak but I totally see what you mean by the lack of "drop" that they have from the side, so I will work on that as well

thanks again everyone

You look great, if you want some constructive criticism all I could say really is your back needs some work and more hams. Quads look good, nice shoulders, maybe more chest as well but that will all come as you add more size.

looking great!! amazing legs!

a little nitpicking might be make sure your hands are in same position when you pose.. front double bi, one hand it turned in more than other, makes bi's look a little uneven... but i had to look long and hard to find anything to crtique!!!

and i love the socks!! lol jk

Dryvrgrl, good tip on keeping my arms even, never saw that one before but they are pretty uneven... those are my "Dorian" sox btw!

Maybe you should also make your own Q&A section, the more infos coming from seasoned vets like you, would do wonders to our already great bb forum. I know it would take some of your time but yeah, it would be awesome :D

Definitely inspiring.

Just saw these pics.

Here is my critique:

Strengths:
You have perfect symetry, and a nice tight waist, very good lower quad developement, and overall a very pleasing look.

Weaknesses:
You don't have overly lengthy clavicles, thereby making your chest look narrower, and back narrower in comparisons to somebody who has a wider frame. This is some what offset because of your tight waist, however to combat this you are going to have to develope large delts, and thicken the back as much as you can.

You have a long torso ... minimize this by wearing your shorts higher.

Things to bring up.

Your outer quad sweep. Your glutes and hamstrings, the width and fullness of your back.
Your chest needs to be fuller. Your bicepts and tricepts and more prominant delts.

In summary, You have a great base and have developed a pleasing physique, but you are vulnerable to be beaten by anybody who has a wider set of clavicles than you. As for the wheels you have great lower quad developement, but it is time to switch the focus to developing the other parts of the leg.

Overall you have a lot of potential to do very well at the national level in a few years time once you have brought up these areas.

Great physique and I would say your condition was more than kind of close to ready... lol

Great build lots of potential. I'd recommend u consider changing the front double bicep pose so that u are blowing the air out so that the torso appears less long and it could do jsut the trick to make u look wider.

i have actually tried that Greg and I still look better sucking the stomach in, perhaps because it still expands my ribcage a bit

luckily this offseason so far ive been able to add about an inch to each lat so im quite a bit wider right now... will take some pics of both poses soon so you can see them side by side and lemme know what you think
