Anyone catch what the C's unveiled for their upcoming platform from the other night? Tougher on violent crime, lower tax's, increased daycare allowance (although socialist in nature, I agree with this idea very much), new green tech job creation.

Then he gets criticized by that garden gnome of a douche NDP leader Layton for not turning every car and industry into being built from hemp or some other BS that he often spews.

I still fail to fathom how anyone BORN IN THIS COUNTRY does not vote Conservative with their current views on economy / politics / crime. Just thought Id mention it. Im pretty sure if cheesesteak could read he would vote NDP or Liberal as they are right up his alley.

Here we go. I'm not brainwashed at al. Give me a conservative leader like Harris or Klien and I'd be happier than a pig in shit.

Some of us think for oursevles and don't follow blindly along. Don't hate on me because I have a solid understanding of what it means to have a true conservative as a leader like we had with Harris in Ontario. Harper couldn't even stand in the shoes of Harris or Klien.

Harper seems to get continually slammed because he is supposedly unwilling to work with the other parties. With the venom the other parties spew is seems to me the blame is wrongly placed.

Though I agree that Harris was one of the best things that ever happened to Ontario, he is not an option. Workfare FTW. At the moment Harper is what the Conservatives have and he is miles ahead of what any other party can produce.

Harper is certainly a better choice than Layton or the NWO candidate Ignatief.Green party is for dreamers.

I am excited about the Conservative plan to allow foreign-owned telecoms to enter the Canadian market. Having more competition amongst cell phone companies would FINALLY lower the monthly cell rates and probably become an incentive for better customer service.

^^ we are still the ONLY nation on earth that pays an "activation fee" every month. Canadians love getting ****ed in the ass with nothing to show for it....its the Canadian way.

Yeah, everything else is manufactured somewhere else thanks to free trade.
Might as well send some more money somewhere else. Its working really well in Ontario.

Shutting down Parliment whenever a bad news story comes up is untrustworthy.
Trying to filter what questions reporters can ask is untrustworthy.
Trying to pass a bill that allows LE to search peoples computers without a warrant is untrustworthy.

All politicians are equally untrustworthy.

What was it about Harris that you guys liked?

I remember thinking he was a piece of shit. I can't recall specific reasons why since it's been years and I tend to ignore a lot of the politcal hoopla, but I do remeber not liking the guy or whatever he supposedly did for Ontario that was regarded as positive.

I think Harpers a dick as well. I generally just don't like politicians. They always seem to be self-serving, self-richeous assholes that think their agendas and plans for their province/country are pure gold, and pretty much ignore what people actually want.

Very little of what goes on these days in parliament resembles a democracy.
