My only advice is don't hire an immigration lawyer, they are only out to take your money.

i knew a response like this would come. the guy wnats to stay here and work. thats a huge plus in my eyes, over the many deadbeats the government lets into this country and then to make it worse they set them up with a house, lodging and ****ing welfare.

at least this guy wants to stay and actually work for a living

Sorry Physique he can't stay in Canada as he is coming from Western Europe, speaks English, Christian backround, and is white.

Now if he were a terrorist sympathizer from Sri Lanka he would be more than welcome to come here, collect welfare, and not learn a word of English.

It is called open borders.
Labour Party instituted a policy of mass immigration in order to obtain "economic benefits", but a recent leaked paper showed that the entire purpose of the affair was to socially engineer Britain to the designs of the radical left.

Tell immigration he is seeking asylum from fellow brits due to his open hatred of football :a+ (i love it). Asylum is the bast case to get into Canada.

It is possible physique. You have to have to give a valid reason to sponsor though.

You can try
canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/index.php

and

It can be done, but I dont think you can make him into a citizen. But tell him to get a work visa or something so he can visit here for 6months to a year. Only saying that because I know a lot of people from England don't like our "laid back" lifestyle and do you really want to spend the time and money sponsoring somebody who doesn't like it here and ends up moving back?

But if your really interested when i run into my neighbour I'll ask him, he a consultant.

I had read that those on a work visa here can get fast tracked into getting a permanent residence status.

no, but maybe dysfunctionally social... or functionally dis-social, or maybe even dis-socially functional.

You are not looking for a sponsor. I believe sponsorship is for Family class applications only. So unless he has family here this is not the route to take.
You need an employer to give him a letter of employment. He will then apply through the Skilled Worker program. Sponsorship even if possible is a risky business. If the person ends up on social assistance the government can request reimbursement from the sponsor. I can not recall but this is in place for at least 3 years and possibly up to 5.

Faking a marriage is difficult as immigration looks for information establishing the relationship for at least a year. Immigration asked to see the email correspondents between my wife and myself. I kinda felt uneasy as their was some pretty personal info contained.
