While impressive, even more impressive is this:

We'll ignore the fact that Pierre-Paul went first in the bet and therefore couldn't have known how many flips his teammate would do. And we're ignoring said fact because Pierre-Paul measured 6-5, 270 pounds with 34-3/4 inch arms at the combine. If he wants to milk a story for effect, have at it.

34-3/4 inch arms????? BULLLLLLSHIT

Probably a typo, most likely his waist.

Ya, I agree. I found it annoying to hear people bash the winter Olympians.

Most of the guys on the bobsled teams have incredible front squats and explosive power. The one American Aerial skier I saw in a training vid could do a hundred hanging pendulum rotations (you know the ones with your legs swinging from side to side) and had a power clean of 225. Not bad for a skinny 150 pound skier. LOTS of core strength on all those guys.

People don't seem to realize how much the Skeleton and Luge athletes train. They forget that fighting G-forces in those corners at 120 MPH is something that requires a lot of strength. They would just flop around like rag dolls in those corners otherwise.

They are talking length of arm here. I don't find that hard to believe at all. And that's a back handspring not a back flip, stupid reporters.

back in the good ol days, a guy on our chearleading team would do the length of the football feild. I dunno how many that worked out to, but he was dizzy as hell when it was done.

I've done about 12 myself
