What a strange and depressing movie.

If I let my kid watch this I'd have to slip Prozac into his lunch for the next two weeks.

Great soundtrack though...

Overall, just not good. Far too depressing to be successful as a kids movie and too simple and uninvolving to make it for adults.

I agree! We took the kids to see it back in October (they all LOVED reading the book over the years) and it was sooooo sad. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Tried to watch this movie one night while moderatly baked.... confusing as hell..lol.. watched it the next morning sober... equally as confusing, my 5 yr old loved it though.. imagination is a great thing!!
