Forearms: Wax or Shave

I scraped off the fur on my forearms late last week and have gotten a few more shaves in (eod). Still a little razor burn but mostly healed up.

The problem is that even with a close shave there still lots of black dots.

Who has tried waxing the forearms and with what success?

Tried waxing. Not good got razor bumps and only lasted a few days longer than shaving.

Tried NAIR. **** THAT SHIT. got killed. never again. I made a thread search it. Needless to say all i do is shave with a mach 3 and no problems now.

IMHO yes. So i took 4 days to come back instead of 2 or 3. No significant differnce to me. Im italian tho so hair is always an issue..:)

So the myth of waxing thinning the hair growth is exactly that, a myth?

waxing will pull a percentage of the roots out and these will not grow back.

waxing will also cause you ingrown hairs sometimes. I have a few still from over a year ago.

I use my trimmer as well 4 my chest and arms, have to do it more often but works fine and no pain ;)

if it's a good model and is kept oiled/sharp, not too bad I spose, nothin like a blade of course.

Best thing so far for me is to lather up in that dove soap and shave then lather again with the dove and then rinse off. I ****ing hate dove soap, but man o man it's perfect for shaving...lol

No shitty dry ass skin after and razor burn is little to none and yes i've tried all the shave gels and shit out there.

I FULLY understand why chicks can take so long in the bathroom....lol:D

TBH my misses makes me wax and I get my forearms done (damn parents for making me hairy!).

Get it done professionally and you will be SWEET. Otherwise, pain incoming...

I'm on week 2 of eod shaving w/ the mach 3 and I don't seem to be able to quite get rid of all of the shaving rash.

^^^ i bought a special product, probably just female aftershave, but the lady at the cosmetic counter said its good for that rash....

minor minor since use...but i also moisturize like 5x a day with vaseoline lotion

I just shave with the grain, it doesn't get as close but it's not noticeable to the eye, and i do it ED while in the shower. Moisturize heavily after every shower also. Works for me, no shave burn.

Honestly it does, lol i was using tinted moisturizer to get a bronze glow and wearing my speedos to take a few pics and my son came in (6 yrs old) and i said don't you want to be big like dad? He said NO i wanna stay normal. Oh well.

reminds me of the big joke last year when me and my gal did provincials together... the THOUGHT of two lesbians spray tanning each other is MUCH sexier then the actual process of two lesbians spray tanning each other! lol... (expecially in a freezing cold basement when you're all skinny and dehydrated and grouchy and shit) lol

get the super 4 or 5 blade shavers... I imagine arms aren't as bad as bikini lines... wait until the boys give you advice on making frank and beans all clean in your speedo!!!

It was my wifes, not sure of the brand but it was very subtle, not like a fake tan, it was coconut moisterizer with a bronzing agent. It actually smelled good. then i got yelled at for using her stuff. lol
