I hate hospitals

I have never really been able to do the whole hospital thing. But last night I was in waiting, and some dude comes in on a stretcher and starts to puke, his wife yelling at the paramedic cause hes not doing anything. He cant though cause hes puking blood and hes got no gloves. But the first couple werent bad then 2 minutes go by and it sounds like his entire stomach is coming up. Now theres bloody puke all over the ground, people are running around not knowing what to do. Finally someone puts a towel to cover up the puke on the floor. Let alone I dislike hospitals to begin with this makes it even worse...

Why can they just not make small spaces where you dont have to see or hear this shit. It wasnt even like I was in the waiting room, we were past that part...

One of my good friends was just stabbed 5 times a few weeks ago....He was in the ICU.....Barely alive.....
Then a fella i work with went in to visit him......As he was asking my friend how he was doing, the fella that came to visit passed out cold and fell right on his stomach which was just opened from sternum to groin to sew everything back up...The emergency staff had to revive the fella that was visiting, and then take my friend back in to the ER to get opened up and drain the blood that was was draining from his 2 slices in his diaphragm and lung....Now that sucks balls.....BIG TIME!!!!
I had to wait a few days to go see him as i passed out a few times from seeing friends that were in extreme rough shape....
We got in a bar brawl once and my buddy took a shot from behind in the jaw, it snapped off both jaw hinges, and i went to see him the next day after they removed teeth etc and wired him up...I saw a small tunnel that got smaller and smaller, then i passed out....lol....I can butcher animals, im on the local ERT team and have no issue with blood and guts, but put me in the hospital visiting once its all over, im out like a light.....
I pity cc if we are ever to have kids, ill need a stretcher and a blindfold!!!:p

Yea I usually just look at a wall and put on a hoodie so I cant see anything around me.

I could feel my stomach turning and getting weak. I had to find a chair asap. The only reason I wasnt out cold cause I didnt know it was blood until the paramedic said he couldnt help since there was blood... It runs in the family my dad cant do blood now I cant do blood. Just thinking about it makes me quiver

No in Canmore alberta....My good friend was hanging out dancing with some ladieeeees, and 3 fellas came in and started trouble with the bouncer, then suckered him, my friend only went in to pull 2 guys off of him, when the 3rd fella ran in with a knife and stabbed him 5 times, the bouncer 2 times and another guy going out the door got a mild poke from the knife...The 5-0 stopped them, they had handguns, a rifle, a few knives...They were searching for trouble, but THE culprits were from Edmonton......They are probably going to get off because everyone was so drunk, there were 50 different stories and no knife recovered...Sad to say the least....Karmas a bitch.....
Lesson, if you dont know what transpired, shut the f up and dont tell a story to just be involved in the action, un matching drunk stories means punks get off with a few weapon charges....UNREAL....

Holy shit guys. That`s just horrible. Every club should have a metal detector and thorough patted down body search.

Hospitals are overfilled and lack budget to create what you want LB, but you probably already know that...

But man, IR, that story is horrible. I feel bad for you and your friends. All the best, and speedy recovery for your friends.

^^^I remember at one time if there was fight going on, and someone jumped in and helped...The fella that jumped in would get his ass kicked bad, nowadays it seems its the norm to have weapons and multiple people beating up a person...No honor left it seems these days....
Thanks Ritch, he is on the mend and both guys are finally out of the hospital and back home now.......The punks are going to be getting off, and the stabber has previous charges for conspiring to murder already from 5 yrs ago.....UNREAL......The bar changed already to a lounge and dropped their industry rave nights, and they had no metal detectors etc, but may be in trouble still because of the situation.....

I think there will be some sort of court case. I can`t go into the details, but where I work has to close for 2 weekends this year as the result of an incident that happened a while back, and was nowhere near as sever to what happended there.

Don`t your ravers just drop E like the one`s here and have a happy good time? Geez... Here they can be the easiest places to work at. No rough situations to deal with, just poeple having a good time, but the hours are messed up. Finishing at 10 am or later, and the pay isn`t that good in most these places.

Hopefully the right people here get what should be handed to them at another time, in another place...

Thats what typically happens at this club, but this nite there were some out of towners looking for shit.........Personally i think it was some sort of gang initiation etc...As they walked in, went straight for the bouncer who is six foot seven and about 300 lbs a bit out of shape, and started with him out of nowhere.... With the arsenal they had, they werent looking to rave......

I've seen friends split wide open. Didn't bother me none. Only my sister having tubes coming out of her bothered me. My father was a doctor and mother was a nurse. Blood and guts has never bothered me. In the blood I guess. Seeing animals suffer is something I can't stomach.

I spent 11hrs at the hospital today. Wife had an appointment at 9:30am didn't leave till 8:30pm. I hate hospitals. Missed almost the whole hockey game.

I don't seem to have problems with stuff that freaks other people out. ie. dead people, animals, disection, necropsy's etc...although I cried like a baby when we had to have our cat euthanized.
