I'm new to the site and was looking for some advice and different supplements or training routines. i've been working out for a couple of years seriously, but because of work i've been off and on. I'm getting back into it again and have hit sort of a peak. I'm 37 and I'm putting more fat on than muscle. It wasn't always this way, getting old i guess haha. If anyone has any advice for maybe regaining some muscle instead of fat i would be forever in your debt.

Its definetely harder to pack on the muscle and keep the
the fat away the older you get, assuming your going
the natural route. Im in the same boat, but
what works for me is consistency and an almost perfect
diet. I workout 5 days a week switching up my routine
each week and do the whole 5-6 small meals a day thing
and I only have 1-2 cheat meals a week.

You must adopt working out as a lifestyle. Consistency is key. That said, it would be much better for you to post your stats (height, weight, BF%), diet, supps, and workout routine in the appropriate sections so people have a starting place with which to provide you advice.

5'7" 215. Not sure of body fat. Not fat just soft.
I'm going to the gym 5 times a week and
have scheduled it around work. I have tried steroids
before but you never no what your
getting. There's a lot of crap out there.

That doesn't really tell us much Bro. You should provide detailed info on diet, supplements, and training in the appropriate forums if you want some useful advice. :)

Also, I'm basically 5' 7" and about 210 right now. That's me in my avi and I consider myself fat right now as I'm in the middle of a bulk. So, are you fat like I'm fat, or are you just soft fat, which is basically fat. Being honest with yourself is important in this game.

If your gaining fat your need to reduce calories and increase physical activity, end of story.
