Hey guys,

Just curious... I bought a bulk package of omega caps from INSERT COMPANY HERE and they're working fantastically. I emailed them to find out which fish they get their oil from because I was curious as to whether or not I have a salmon allergy. They replied saying they didn't know, which is a little disappointing.

They're the generic 1000mg yellow capsules with 180/120 EPA/DHA split. I'm sure all of the ones you taking are exactly the same ones. I'm sure they are some combination of anchovies, mackerel, sardine, salmon, etc. A brief online search of Google yielded little in terms of results. I'd really like to start eating sashimi (raw fish) in the near future! So is there salmon in generic fish pills like this?

Allergy testing is a long wait, inconvenient, and expensive (since I'm out of province).

Thanks all,

Aaron

So are you shilling? Or are you asking any sort of a question? Last I checked the company that you mentioned isnt a board sponsor, so I don't think there are any reps here to answer your question.

Sorry to say but 120mg of dha is the bottom of the bottom when it comes to fish oil caps. You`re going to need to take at least 10 of them a day. Nutraplanet can go **** themselves...

buildinthaskinnys - Yeah... I want to know whether or not there's salmon in my fish oil... obviously.

Ritch - I do take ten of them daily.

Sorry about the shill... it wasn't intentional at all! I supported them only because I hadn't discovered TS.com yet - this was last summer. Thanks for bitching me out guys... it does a whole lot of good. I've since removed the name and link, but now that you've all pointed it out, fixing my error seems to do no good whatsoever.

So I went for AYCE sushi/sashimi on Saturday night. Salmon went down no problem and I'm feeling fantastic. For the $30 including tax/tip, I ate about $40 worth of sushi and $90 worth of salmon LOL!

When I was growing up, my parents would always barbecue or smoke fish. I couldn't determine whether the throat reactions I was having were because of my asthma or a potential allergy. Now that's settled :)
