gonna get blood work done next week so Sun Life can approve me. i know they ask if you're a smoker or not so they probably check for that.

does anyone know how long nicoteine stays in the blood stream? ill just wait till its out to provide blood sample LOL?

what about weed ? do they test for that too.

if i pass the test and continue smoking after will that fukk me up in the long term ie like will they still pay me out regardless if they find traces in blood, not sure how it works or do they ask that you provide a blood sample every so often?

thx

I think of it this way; insurance companies will screw you anyway they can, even after you are dead.

If they can find anything which was untrue...

you end up developing lung cancer, and the doctor says it was due to smoking, your insurance will get pulled.

now is a good time to quit, but youre probably ****ed anyways, as in one week of not smoking, your tests will probably still show.... provided you are looking.

i've never been asked for follow up blood samples
they do ask alot of questions though, and you have to sign off on all the answers

i just had all my tests done last week. i dont smoke or do drugs, i was mainly worried about blood pressure. they will likely measure your height, weigh you, ask when you last ate, take your pulse and 3 blood pressure readings, urine sample and 2-3 vials of blood. have ID handy.
