Need a new computer

the ol' desktop just blew up :(

So I need to get a new one and need some suggestions on what to look for. Basically I don't need anything top of the line I just need something thats decent that I can download music and movies to. It would basically be my "back-up / downloading computer" so I don't want to spend a fortune on something that's going to be getting viruses.

So any suggestions on what the computer should have in it as far as memory etc etc.

i've used macs for 15+ years...great computers but honestly i can do anything on my PC as just as well.

You should have a Windows computer.It is better than MAC.

Mac,, love it never go back,,, I have a laptop version and have a wireless keyboard an mouse I hook up to my 52 inch lcd,, love it,, movies games everything,, price starts at 1099.00 and goes up,, same as imac,, best bang for your buck,, mac mini, 599.00 and you can hook up to your tv.
