So I was bored with it taking so damn long to consume my pre/post workout supplements. I decided to try putting them all into a single drink and see what happened. Here's my formula:

Protein - 2 Scoops of TS.com Strawberry Whey Isolate (50g)
Amino - 1 Scoop of Nutrabio.com 2:1:1 BCAAs (5g)
Amino - 1 Scoop of Nutrabio.com AKG Extreme Stack (12g)
Fiber - 1 Teaspoon of Inulin (3g)
Lypolysis - 1/2 Teaspoon of TS.com Acetyl L-Carnitine (1.5)
Endurance - 1 Teaspoon of TS.com Beta-Alanine (4g)

The pills I take this this are Greens, Omega Capsules, and a Generic Caffeine-based Fat Burner. I also take my Multivitamin with the pre-workout one.

I mixed it up, and though there was a fair bit of froth/head, it actually wasn't all that bad! It tasted like Strawberry Protein with a lot of lemon juice that was beginning to go bad - thanks AKG/ALCAR!

So, I'm looking to tweak this a little bit. Planned modifications:

Dextrose - any recommendations on dosage? I was thinking 70cc scoop because I have a lot of those spare.

I also want to add some additional flavouring, so I'll take recommendations on how to get some more strawberry/vanilla/banana goodness in this.

For those not familiar with the AKG Extreme Stack, it's a combination of Arg/Cre/Glu/Orn AKG's with L-Taurine.

Any comments, criticisms, questions, suggestions?

post workout shake i wouldn't put in any fiber in there, it delays gastric emptying. for the dextrose i would use anywhere from 50-100g of dextrose depending on what u workedout, more for back or leg days.

i think all you need is
whey protein
creatine
dextrose or waxy maize
mulitivitamin
and fish oil caps

rest are garbage, waste of money and dont' work.

bcaas, if u take in regular whey protein u can get them thru that, same with glutamine its shit unless taken thru IV, as the gut destroys it all.

Roger that on the fiber, thanks. I'll try the two scoops of dextrose for post-workout once I go buy some tomorrow. I power-lift mostly, so it's always legs/back day for me.

I would contest you on the rest of my ingredients being garbage though, because your claims are very generalized. These things may not work for you, but they work fantastically well for me - that's all that really matters to me.

ALCAR really sped up my rate of fat loss and continues to do so daily. I'm vegetarian, so I get 0 exposure to L-Carnitine in my food. It was crucial to my Velocity Diet success.

Beta has made deadlift day in particular much more bearable - the fatigue delay rules.

The reason for the BCAAs is that I'm just starting the post-transition from a modified Velocity Diet, so I'm going long periods of time without much in the way of solid food. As above, being vegetarian, I can't get good quantities of them from my actual food sources.

ok sounds good if it works for you then thats all that matters. i just think if you take a month break from bcaa and only get them from food or protein shakes, see if it makes any difference and you can decide.

good luck

15 grams BCAA's
20g waxy maize
20g dextrose
scoop of gatorade powder
200mg caffeine x 2
depending on goal 10g-15 g creatine
All tru supplements powders by the pound works great and cheap. Not worth spending the big bucks on fancy supps anymore when you cant confidently say the amount of ingredients so make my own...

Formula Tweak... version 0.2:

Carb - 1 Scoop of Gatorade Powder (25g sugar)
Carb - 1 Scoop of Dextrose (25g sugar)
Protein - 1 Scoop of TS.com Strawberry Whey Isolate (25g Protein )
Amino - 1 Scoop of 2:1:1 BCAAs (5g Amino)
Amino - 1 Scoop of AKG Extreme Stack (12g AKG Amino)
Amino - 2 Teaspoons of L-Glutamine (9g Amino)
Lypolysis - 1/2 Teaspoon of TS.com Acetyl L-Carnitine (1.5g)
Endurance - 1 Teaspoon of TS.com Beta-Alanine (4g)

Taken with 200mg of Caffeine and 2g of Omega-3's.

This stuff is fantastic... I could honestly market it it's so great! I was rotating between this and my water bottle throughout my workout. Serious power! I'm very pleased to say the least.

Tweaks I'm thinking about now are to try more caffeine and maybe use a lower speed on my blender! I crammed that ~100g formula into a 700mL shaker after blending and it was hardly thick at all. I'm stoked for tomorrow's deadlifts with my power juice. Note that I've never used dextrose before, so the sugar probably came as a big surprise to my body DURING workout.
