Looks good to me, the magnesium and zinc are chelated, has a nice high dosoe of vit C and E, high doses of b vitamins... I`m not so sure I need to take this as I already take 1 gram of vitamin C, 3 times a day, a b-complex 50mcg twice a day, 400iu`s of vit E, 400mg of chelated magnesium and 30mg of chelated zinc.

I`ve always had my ideals on the timming of certain vitamins (magnesium and zinc taken before bed with vit E) I`d still get those in before bed, but just not in the same doses... When taking a multi I`d most likely take the 9 caps in 3 split doses to keep the vit C in a steady supply in the blood stream. Thoughts?

9 multivitamins a day? am i reading that correctly?

Yes, 9 pills to get everything listed there, it`s a 30 day supply. So 3 pills, 3 times a day to get steady blood levels. Logical, yes?

I just bought a 30 day supply of "Cygen Laboratories MultiPack"
and it has only a fraction of each of your listed vitamins.

eg.

vitamin C....... 500mg
vitamin B12.... .1mg
Manganese..... .5 mg
Chromium....... .2mcg
Iron.............. 15mg

I have no idea what to take in a day, Is mine even close to enough??
I paid $35 for my month supply.
What did you pay Ritch? and what brand?

Oh wait there are a few that have the same amounts:

Vitamin B6.....100mg
Thiamine.......100mg
Riboflavin......100mg

I only take 1 pack a day consisting of 6 pills

Seems like overkill to me Ritch. I don't think your body can utilize that much each day.

Yikes, you got served for that price... The one I`m looking at is from ultmate nutrition and only costs $14 US for a month supply!

Vitamine C, idealy should be taken at 1 gram, 3 times a day. This is mostly to control cortisol levels.

The b 12 is yours is low, unless it`s in liquid form that amount is alright, but my b complex caps have 50mg of b-12, why yours only has 1mg, I have no clue...

Stuff like maganese and iron, I don`t really know the ideal recommendations for them. Your chromium is also very low. Unless .2 means 200mcg then it`s fine. A reason for taking the multi is just that and other stuff like copper, calcium, and the carotene`s I don`t get from any given sources. So the multi is more of an insurance thing...

Still a hell of a lot less than what you find in the "infamous" animal pack, lol... But dose wise, I`d still add extra vit C to each serving to get 1 gram of vitamin C. I actually like the idea of having some b vitamins 3 times a day, and 33mg seems like a fair dose. If it`s too much, I`ll just piss it out. But the magnesium, zinc, vitamin E and chromium doses are spot on.

In the end, I`m thinking of the multi to get the stuff I don`t get from taking vit c, E, b complex, magnesium and zinc. Which is more than a few vitamins it seems. But the value of this formula is attractive... Also I`ve often said that what I take is all you need, but the vets all say multi... So maybe I was wrong, and a multi is better, which is why I`m seeking opinions. Yours appreciated as well.

Damn did I ever get served, and it was the cheapest one out of the lot.
I didn't like paying the price I did but I didnt know where else to go.
I take an additional 2000 mg of vitamin C a day, so I think I'm alright there.
I'm def going to look into the one you just picked up after I finish this bottle.

And the B12 is in tablet form so I guess it's not enough. I should have done some more research before I picked this up.

do you guys really feel anything from a multi? I do B12 injection and Shakes with greens and fruits and veggies. Do you guys think recovery is improved with a multi?

This is why I'm taking them:

they say you'll never get enough vitamins/minerals through the food you eat

You`re really short changing yourself here. No extra vitamin C ( and saying you get it in food is not an argument as you`ll never get 3 grams a day this way. )

No magnesium and zinc and most bodybuilders from what I `ve read are defficient in them. Greens is a great product, good for overall health, but it`s not a vitamin product.

From what I use, I can say, that yes, the vitamins make a huge difference. Also I`d say the more strict your diet (eating the same food groups all the time) multi`s or something like what I`m taking becomes more important.

Don`t want to get too much off topic, but if you`re thinking of using gear, I`d really consider taking in more vitamins, just seems like common sense. Plus they don`t really cost that much.

That site you were on, does have some ok prices. They`re one of the few that sell CEL topical formestane for $30, but the shotgun may cost $7 more than some other place. But if you were to order from both places you`d still pay more because of the shipping....

Still, where`s the magnesium and zinc? How much vit C you think you`re getting? I think it`s great you have those shakes, but still think you`d be better off with more supps. Don`t you train mma as well?

I train about 12 hours a week all together. I will take you word on it and Get a multi and zma from trueprotein.com, in 3 months I will tell you if i see a difference. I just ordered.

Good to hear! The zma for sure you will notice better sleep and it will help your training. That multi, unfortunetly in my opinion is very kitchen sinky... And not near a 3 month supply and shame on them for saying that. I`m all for value, but you can`t expect to get good doses of everything and there is alot of ingridients there for that cheap. I compared a few ingredients and many only have 1/4 to 1/10 of what`s in my progresvie vege green`s. Sorry to say but buyer beware dude.

Ideally, I`d take a greens type supp as they give fair doses of what`s put in the jar.
A good dosed multi,
extra vitamin C
ZMA optional, in your case a must as it seriously lacks the key ingredients. Magnesium and zinc should be in chelated forms. If not, I wouldn`t bother.

Yes it`s an underdosed vitamin product. It`s dosed good in the various b vitamins and vitamine E, that`s it. The multi I plan on using is less expensive, much better dosed. I see no reason to buy this one.
